Sofas & Chairs — Attraction in Lafayette

Absolutely beautiful showroom, but that is where the beauty ends. I purchased a VERY expensive sofa from Sofas & Chairs last year. When my custom piece arrived to my home, half of the sofa was white linen and the other half was the fabric I selected. I'm not sure how this made it by their "quality control" but it arrived with two very different colors and fabrics.

This seems like a pretty obvious mistake and one that Sofas & Chairs could resolve easily with their vendor/sales rep. Short story - that was not the case. We had to live with the "two toned sofa" for 6 months. Sofa & Chairs was never able to get my order corrected by Rowe and suggested that I order an even better sofa - they'd cover the difference.

This seemed like it was too good to be true, and it certainly was. My replacement sofa arrived many months later. The "nicer sofa" is about 3 steps down from the sofa I paid for and was never credited for any of these mistakes. I refrained from publicly sharing about our experience because I believed they really would make things right.

Sofa & Chairs personally came to my home in again July and agreed that the replacement sofa was not up to their standards. They said they would work with the vendor to get replacement cushions and do anything they could to make things right.

After not hearing anything for a month, I went to the store for an update and was told said cushions shipped out before Labor Day. I allotted 6-8 weeks for shipping before following up with them again. Guess what, they were never shipped and supposedly shipped out today with no ETA of arrival.

Run, don't walk, from wasting thousands of dollars and ending up with furniture you'll want to list on Marketplace. This has been such a disappointment and has been going on for over a year...

I found the most beautiful couch at this store! The lady that helped us was named Katherine and an absolute sweetheart. I often get ignored in stores because I don't dress up or wear a ton of makeup or carry a nice handbag. She walked right up and made me feel at home. Once the couch was chosen, we were able to set up delivery and Katherine came out to the house to help with design. The other ladies at the store were very kind and the delivery guys made sure the couch was placed perfectly. Stunning showroom!!! Kind of felt like everything was the same at all the furniture store I've visited. This store has pieces to fit everyone's style. The best part was I didn't feel harassed. I actually got to take my time and look around. Can't wait to furnish my home from here!
