I am not even sure where to start because this was the worst experience we have ever had; this was in the common room. No servers? We sat at our table for 15 minutes and there was no greeting or service. I had to call and ask what the procedure was. After getting apologized to on the phone; Maddie came apologize to us and took our orders. She became our server for the night; it looked like she was pulled from the second floor. We ordered two burgers, two cokes and one sand trap martini. 45 minutes later; still no drink or food but we got our chips and queso. Time for refills; well that did not happen. I walked up to the bar and this guy who looked like the manager; instead of helping us with a refill he told me to move because I was in the way of where the drinks were being made. Kaydee realized what was going on; seemed a little shocked at how I was treated. She took our glasses and came give us refills minutes later. Almost an hour later and still no martini or burgers. We are very thankful to Maddie who was our server for a little while and then Kaydee who took Maddies spot after she got off; both were very nice and extremely helpful.
There needs to be an extraordinary amount more training on customer service; don't just completely forget about the common area where your customers can come eat, drink and enjoy the Saints game. I would also suggest numbering your tables because the girls would come out asking or more like screaming "Who has the Cheesy Macaroni Bites?!"
The management team needs to have a much better structure as well as a game plan because this is extremely unacceptable and needs a lot of improvement. We also noticed there were other customers who were getting up to complain because they haven't been waited on. That was hard to keep watching; being in customer service I was wanting to get up and help them because it bothered me so much that people were not being waited on.
Jreyon from San Antonio ended up taking care of our tab and gave us a couple of gift coupons which helped. He did a great job putting out the fire; as I watched him have to do that to countless numbers of tables knowing he would eventually have to do the same to ours.
As a business; you guys need to realize that you have to have all of your areas covered for customer service and not just your bays. I realize that you guys just opened and there is a lot of room for improvement but I would absolutely start with the way you treat your customers.
I am hoping you guys take this review to heart; show your team and make some major changes because customer service is everything and without customers you have NO...
Read moreVery first time at Top Golf and was super excited. Got there at 9:15 pm. Friday (1/26) okay? 2 hour play time. 6 people all together on 1 bay. like $140. I expected more from this establishment considering how expensive it is. At around 9:30 i ordered ONLY mac and cheese bites⌠I had to find our server after 40 minutes because i havenât seen him nor heard anything about my food. I ask to order a chicken sandwich as well and He says okay and iâll check on it. 10-15 minutes go by i see the table next to us gets mac and cheese bites and a chicken sandwich⌠they all looked confused and the worker looked and then shrugged it off and still gave them the food. mind you i saw one person from their table grab a mac and cheese bite and eat it! so i was like maybe it was their food? Our server came right after and said, âOkay so i talked to our manger and they got it straighten out.â i said ,â Uhmmm idk if they just ordered the EXACT same thing but they just got our food i think. And they are eating it.â He went over talked to them and literally grabbed the mac and cheese bites off the table and gave it to us⌠He then said, âYeah uhm they gave me their word they didnât touch them. but i can take it back if you want. But i asked them and they gave me their word.â We all looked at him and said uhm yes we donât want that. it just came back from the other guys table?!?!â He said , âi mean thatâs okay itâll be eaten anyway.â and walked off. We talked to a manager after that because What?I literally seen a guy take one of the bites and eat it. The manager was very nice and solved it very well!! I wish i wouldâve gotten her name because sheâs awesome. But cmon mannn. I hope next time i go this...
Read moreWe visited with a group of 10 for the first time last night. (Half off bay pricing on Tuesdays). Every bay was booked, but that had zero affect on the wonderful atmosphere and excellent service.
We started out at the bar while we waited for our party to arrive. The drinks were fantastic and honestly very reasonably priced for Lafayette.
We moved to one of the tables once a few of our party members arrived and the service was just as good there. Our food did take a bit to arrive, but the place was booked solid so we anticipated a longer wait than usual. Our waiter kept us informed of the status & even offered to bring our order to our bay if it didn't arrive before our reservation opened up. That did happen. But by the time we got upstairs to our bay, our food and drinks were there waiting for us. Kudos to the team. And the food was excellent.
Finally our bay experience was a 15/10. Our guy Jerry was a hustler and was so kind and accommodating. He introduced himself and passed by (what felt like) every two minutes to check on us and took every request we had. The games were a lot of fun. Most of us were beginners but are very competitive--and it was easy to play once you get the hang of things. There are also accommodations for whatever you need. Youth, left handed clubs, etc.
We are newbies to golf and to the whole Top Golf experience. It was such a good time that my husband signed up for the platinum club right after our game. If you are looking for a fun way to spend time with friends or family in Lafayette, this place is awesome. Affordable, good food, great service and a great time.
Tip: This is a place that you will definitely need to book in advanced. There will...
