Assistance League Thrift Shop — Local services in Laguna Beach

Proceeds go to local assistance programs., mostly vetran - noone salaried and they own the block. Recently (1 year) much higher prices over what were already premium prices for high quality used merchandise. So.... no real need to sift through low quality, out of date and style items (except the shoes yuk-but low priced). Easy displays in the round unlike salvation army, and clothes are clean. At a big price but still on par with ebay auctions boutique has the local (i.e. laguna) English and Italian shirts, and numerous leather goods. I bought a Porsche Design white leather jacket I had seen at PD South coast retail 1750 my price $30. So Im headed there today., but not to many hopes of a "find", but then I have the money and willingnes and desire to find Ebay auction deals without the $25 shipping yikes!! Oh yes the locals are all there....

While vacationing in Laguna, my daughter and her friend went shopping at the AL Laguna Beach store. Due to Covid-19, they had 30 minutes in the store to shop. The girls were rushed, called out by NAME for taking "too long" in the dressing room (Customers had to write their names on a list for the dressing room), questioned about each item they purchased, and were completely embarrased in front of the other customers. My mother has been a member of AL for many years and my daughter was an Assisteen. We will definitely be filing a c ompliant with the National AL. We are embarrassed to be associated with an organization that would treat customers this way. The women at this store should be ashamed of themselves! If I could give a zero...

Best thrift store I've found in the area. They have a room of regular clothes and also a room for designer brand clothes. Even their designer brand clothes are reasonably priced. They have one dressing room for the designer room and multiple dressing rooms for the main floor. My husband found two beautiful ties in the designer clothes room at a great price.
