RUDE, SHABBY, NAUSEATING ODOR, POOR FOOD HANDLING TECHNIQUES AND FREEZING COLD! Visited Diamond theater mid week because it was close to home. Also, I wanted to patronize a local business. We arrived late, the freezing cold theater was fairly empty. The only person seated inside watching a movie was a male employee wearing a uniform. After the inital show ended, we asked Tina DeCosta, Assistant Manager if we could sit through 15 minutes of the next show. Tina took issue with staying over for 15 minutes to watch only the portion we missed. Personally, I was terribly disheartened by Tina's behavior and asked for information to voice my concerns with a General Manager or owner. Tina rudely questioned why I wanted management's contact information. And, stood on her ground insisting that we purchase additional tickets at full price, if we wanted to see the first 15 minutes of the next show. Again, the theater was virtually empty however even the preparation of food took 20 minutes after purchasing it from the counter. That incident could have been remedied by allowing us to watch the missed portion of the movie. In addition, while standing at the concession counter as we waited on Tina to provide contact information for her management team. We noticed a female employee wipe her hands on the butt of her pants as she proceeded to handle food. (Viewable from cameras near popcorn machine) Finally, I went to the ladies restroom. The ladies bath room was surface clean but there were broken/cracked tiles and the most nauseating ordor in both women's and men's restrooms. For more than a year the marquee has not displayed which movies are showing on a weekly basis. Sadly, one rectifiable incident lead to an in-depth review of the entire establishment. One star for poor service across...
Read moreWent to go watch a movie with my mom and my 3 yr old son. Bought my ticket and moms and went inside, once inside we got in line to buy popcorn soda etc...The young Asian girl at the counter, once I payed about $40 worth of food, asked me for my son's ticket I told her he didn't have one because he was going to fall asleep we even had his blanket with us, besides that she said we had to pay for an adult ticket because it was a rated-R movie. Instead of working with us she told us she would give us our money back. I felt like she was kicking us out, a paid customer who comes to this movie theatre at least once a week. I was very disappointed because I wanted to spend time with my mom which by the way came from out of town. We ended up going to a different movie theatre which was farther but had excellent customer service. I just think management needs to re think their approach to customers service giving the money back should be the last resort on any circumstance, that's not a good way to...
Read moreKey thing to remember is that this is a small theatre franchise so to watch a movie you just wanna see and not care about the theatre location or quality of space/comfort, the setting works. I liked how easy it was to get tickets last minute at 9PM with a military discount over a kiosk and it was easy to get in theatre room with no delay. The theatre is small but it was clean when I went in and I didn't care about how small the screen was. I saw the Nun II and I think having had a more comfortable seat wouldn't have made a difference in my sole intention to watch said movie. Seats are okay, temperature inside the movie room was cold but i had a coat thankfully. For a small theatre, I would give it a 4 because it was what I expected and for the better, because most small theatres i've been to before would be less comfortable and less kept clean or in decent shape. Will come back for the prices and...
