Vintage Empire — Local services in Lake Elsinore

Husband and I went for first time, liked some stuff and asked if they take trade in with pokemon cards. They told me trade in for store credit was 100% market value. Had them hold 1 horror fogure until next day. Brought cards in and I got ripped off. They literally had over half the stack saying they were all so damaged they could only 50 cents a card. Which i am anal about my trading cards. Every decent card ive ever pulled goes straight into a card sleeve and into a binder so where did all this "damage" come from? Following day i went in i gave back what i got from my store credit and got my cards back. Woman that took the items had severe attitude about 2 items not being in package even though I talked to the owner on the phone and he told me it was fine. He knew I was unhappy so he was letting me bring my stuff back. The owner popped over and told her that he had told me to bring them in like that. She still gave me attitude even after that so I just took my cards and left. Went straight to the actual card store and only took in about half the the cards I took into vintage empire and store credit I still got almost double what empire gave me. If you have trading cards, go to bezerk card store. This place tells you they give 100% for store credit and then rip you off when you actually come in with your cards. I left a review after realizing they ripped me off and they respond with much childishness when they could have sumoly said "I'm sorry about your experience" or "if there is something we can do to fix it, let us know" or even kindly explain how their trading system actually works, nicely offer to take the items back and giving back my cards instead of talking to me as if I'm the bad guy in this situation. You are a business and I genuinely don't feel like you act like one. You tell people one thing and then rip them off. When they catch it, you talk down to them and your female employee doesn't make anything better with the attitude she had every time I was in there. I deleted that review in hopes that when I went back for my cards, they would be nice and I could leave a better review but their responses and the fact that they paid me nearly HALF of what a real card store paid me (store credit for both) and the attitude i was given, their review loses a star. For trading cards, go to Bezerk because they won't rip you off and they have all been so kind and pleasant the countless times I've gone. I wont be back to vintage empire and working at gamestop I'll make sure not to send people there either. Sorry to leave a bad review, I hate being that person but people need to be warned about scammers...

I went to this store after seeing their grand opening banner awhile back and it's an amazing place. We bought an Elvis framed picture along with some classic vintage toys for our kids reasonably priced to! They have all kinds of vintage stuff there and comics. So many comics to choose from it insane. The owner was amazing and very friendly. They are knowledgeable in everything in the store which is good cause I had a question on this (what I found out was like a camera before cameras were a thing haha) and the owner Ivan if I recall correctly explained to me how it worked and all the glass pieces that came with it. We Will keep going back to buy...

Great store. They have really fun vintage collectables. I went for the comic books and was very happy with the selection. They have a good selection of older back issues, keys, and a great $1 selection. The staff was very friendly and nice to talk to. They also had vintage records, cool toys, and even the McDonald's toys. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes...
