Clava Sports Facility — Attraction in Lake Forest

It’s an OK facility with clean restrooms and food/drinks for sale….But very limited parking (get there early) and VERY limited bleacher seating for games, especially when parents stay seated after their game is over (the unspoken rule is to leave so the NEXT team playing has room for their parents…it’s a nice safe area, go outside or go for a walk). $20 to park and $20 entry fee was steep for a NOT having so much space to sit. The players don’t have a lot of room to serve due to the facility trying to squeeze so many courts into a small area (my daughter had to push the curtain back to give herself extra room, see photo), and NO team bench only about 2 chairs for the team’s sideline. No trash cans near the middle courts so you’ll find trash around the benches (trash cans are along the side walls and lobby area only). SCVA uses Momentous Sports Complex in Irvine a lot, I prefer that facility over this one (even though their parking is also limited), the facility is much cleaner...

Please stop wasting your money and time at this facility. The owner seems to be solely focused on making as much money as possible. While this place has potential to be great, there are significant issues such as overcrowding, unaddressed maintenance problems, dirty restrooms, a lack of signage, and insufficient information provided. It feels like they make up excuses to avoid accountability.

As a family-owned and operated business, they are more concerned with profits than customer satisfaction. I experienced rudeness and unprofessional behavior, as well as manipulation and dishonesty. It is a difficult place… the owner does not manage it right. He cleans bathrooms late causing it to be unavailable before the first games. The snack bar doesn’t have over half the items on his menu. Then he gets angry and tells me it is only breakfast. I pointed to his sign that says what is available for breakfast. He then immediately rips the sign down. And says he changed it. But then I said he told me an hour ago. It was available if I waited a little bit. Then he tells me he never said it. I’m not trying to be difficult. The seats are metal and uncomfortable, and it is very small. You pay $10 for parking. But if you look around, you can find free parking. It could be a nice place if he improved his...
