MICHAEL'S HAS LOST MY BUSSINESS.
We came into the Foothill Ranch location for holiday décor, and picked up two July 4th buntings. All of the endcaps in the front of the store had signs that said "50% off all red white and blue décor". Your cashier scanned the items, but the prices were rather high, so we mentioned the discount signage. He began to argue and refute us, in a less than respectful manner, never checking the price, just debate. I put them back, and double checked the sign on the endcap where I took them. I came back to where my wife was checking out and quoted the signs. Your cashier began to retort and argue in a rather disrespectful manner. When I said it's false advertising not to honor the sale, he broke off into a political tirade, disrespecting us, your company, and our country. Among his MANY snide quips were "take it up with corporate, this is just a job for me" and "Welcome to America, everything is false advertising here." I am gravely shocked that Michael's would have such disrespectful and offensive employees. I can only assume you hire these people to represent your corporate values: 1) Disrespect to customers 2) Disrespect to our country 3) Bait & switch pricing. Read moreCustomer service I shop a lot in this store and usually have a very good experience. Unfortunately, because of the corona virus situation, they adopted a new method of shipping flowers. They do not ship them like they usually would from the warehouse. They ship them from a local store instead. The flowers are arriving dirty and damaged. I made many customer service calls, but it is pointless. The product they ship is unusable and should be thrown away. If you go to the local store to complain, they will tell you that we didn't pack this and it must be another store. The manager sees no problem with this situation, since I could return it, no need to apologize. She told me I'm not invited to shop in this store. Read moreI really love Michaels for their prices. Having said that, it pays to be pay attention to what you're buying. Today they had a Buy 1, get 2 free, paper packs. They also had clearance items that were on the bottom shelf of the display, that were not part of the Buy 1, get 2 free. Once I was at the register,I told the cashier I wanted to make sure all items were part of that deal. Turns out 2 weren't, but there was no way to make sure which items weren't!
