Made an online order for pick-up here today May 18th from 6-7pm. I got a text stating they didn’t have anyone to shop my order currently and it would be delayed, which is totally fine. Once it started to get picked by an Aldi associate named Emily, I couldn’t get her to respond to anything I typed. I had a bad feeling my order was going to be messed up, but everything got picked and it seemed fine. Fast forward to me coming home and unpacking all my groceries from Aldi & Walmart. I realize a lot of items from my Aldi order are straight up missing. Currently, I’m out of $34.38 worth of items……..I have been very ill this weekend and just wanted to make a fast dinner of homemade soup for my family, couldn’t even do that. Didn’t have my lunch meat either so can’t pack my husband a lunch for work early in the morning. So many things missing……..where are the things I paid for? I called Instacart because when you shop on the app, it’s the only option it gives you. However, this time an Aldi associate shopped the order so Instacart is telling me I need to contact Aldi corporate tomorrow. What a run around. This Aldi location has steadily been going downhill, and this is not the first time I’ve had an issue with my pick-up order. A lot of the time when I raise the issue to the associate at pick-up, they could honestly care less. I’ve never had this problem with the Highway K, Chesterfield or St. Charles locations. Won’t be returning here….and I’d like my...
Read moreAldi's has great food and prices! I shop here just about once a week. It is conveniently located off Highway N and Highway 40, so is noticable and easy to get into. The selection for an item is limited to one brand for the most part and the brands are not big name merchandise but I love most everything here. Their Winking Owl wine is delicious!! Their milk, eggs and cheese prices are the lowest anywhere but it is good stuff!! The produce is fresh and some of it is from local farms. The meat selection is good but not extensive. They always have whatever holiday food is appropriate at the time and the desserts are scrumptious though limited. And now they have a selection of household merchandise normally revolving around a theme which changes weekly. They have some cool stuff I normally wouldn't think of buying at a grocery store. It is super nice to pick up an item here rather than going to a big discount department store. The store packs in a lot in it's small building. It is fun shopping here. Even when the lines start to back up at checkout, the associates are quick and courteous in getting people through. Aldi's is a great grocery store for most of my basic...
Read moreGreat value and pretty good selection. I love that they are getting more and more picky about the products that they will carry. Aldi will no longer carry items that contain certified synthetic colors, partially hydrogenated oils, and added monosodium glutamate (MSG). Aldi has made the move to carry healthier foods, which makes me feel even better about shopping there. I am a big fan of 'bring your own bag', too. I cannot tell you how many Walmart bags I have stuffed inside more bags. With Aldi, you bring your own, or you can buy some at the checkout. I love the reduction in waste. Aldi has fast become my go-to store, and I'm so excited that a new one is being built just a mile...
