Normally I would never write a negative review on fast food workers because I don't envy them and know how bad they have it, but this experience was not only bad service but also treated poorly so I have to say something.
I ordered through the app and pulled in to a stall and input that I was there on the app which is normally faster then drive thru and is a very nice tool that they promote to do. Only reason im not giving this 1 star is because normally this goes swimmingly. This time however I waited 15 minutes and watched the line at the drive thru fully clear out and waited 10 minutes after that. When I was sure no one was coming I hit the button where someone just said "Drive thru only" and I tried to respond asking "Even for app orders?" but they must of hung up before I got it all out or they just ignored me. I then waited another 5minutes and was sure they were not going to talk to me and no one was still coming out I went up through the drive thru and tried to tell them what was going on. but before I got but 4 words in they asked for my name (like they had been watching me wait for my mobile order) I gave it to them and they just said pull forward. they then just held my food out the window like it had been sitting there ready the whole time.
It would of been nice if there was any communication to not cause me to wait over 35minutes. they knew In was at that stall because it activates on there screens, they could of talked to me the whole time and when I tried to talk to them they ignored me.(there was also another car in a stall near me that had been waiting awhile)
Again normally I would never hound a worker for poor service because I know that their job isn't fun but they need to remember that they are serving to actual people. I didn't say one thing negatively to them and was treated like I was in the wrong while they cut me off and didn't want to let me say one word to them (probably because they were scared I was going to say something mean.) but In just want to make sure this kind of thing doesn't happen in the future. Not sure if its poor staff communication or the app needs to work differently...
Read moreWe usually love Sonic, but admittedly, we don't usually patron this location. 6:15pm on a Wednesday, and the drive thru line took for-ev-er. At first, we assumed it was someone who just ordered one of everything, but we quickly realized its just how slow everything is here!! We ordered 3 combos, and a single chicken tender entrée. When the gentleman (a word I use lightly) hands us our food & gives us the "hereyougohaveagoodnight" salutation, I was expecting a second bag to follow. Surely they didn't jam all of our stuff into this one little bag. Upon a quick check, it appeared everything was there - albeit smooshed together - until we pulled away & realized an entire combo was missing. It took us right at 30 mins just to get thru the drive thru the first time... no way were we going back thru there, so I pulled into am ordering stall & pushed the red button. After 10 minutes of sitting there watching the red button blink at us, we were considering getting out to go knock on the window!! FINALLY, someone came out to deliver another car's food... we caught her on her way back & let her know what was missing. She took our receipt, and quickly brought out the missing chicken tender combo. I'm sure its been sitting on the counter ever since it was ordered... which was now well over 30 minutes ago. The toast in the tenders combo box was hard & cold. The chicken sandwich .. well, the chicken wasn't terrible, but the bun both tasted & felt like it had spent a week under a heat lamp. The tots were mushy & barely came to the front top edge of the carton. They had absolutely zero crisp to them, even when they were first handed to us, and there was a really strong "oil" flavor to them.
All around, it was just really bad. We most definitely won't be back to this location ANY time soon. Unfortunately, because the food itself was so underwhelming, none of us will be craving Sonic anytime soon. At least for...
Read moreI usually enjoy the food and service but the last time I went, we waited for about 10min at the window. I’m not one to complain since I work in the food industry as a server and managed a fast food restaurant for 3 years prior, but when we got our food it was cold and fries were hard. Went back up to speaker to ask for it to be remade since we waited so long and it was already cold, and was told we were basically lying about how long we waited and that our order was just placed 4 minutes ago, which doesn’t make any sense since I had checked the time bc I had somewhere to be soon. The young girl at the window proceeds to ask for the cold food back (no biggie but I’m pretty sure that’s a health violation) and then gives us an attitude and we can hear clear as day her and what seems to be a female manager yelling and complaining about us. After witnessing their unprofessional behavior I ask the man at the window if we can just get a refund (he was kind props to him) and then the young girl comes back and claims we have to give back our drink in order to get a refund? I’ve NEVER heard of this in all my years working in the industry and mind you we were already waiting for nearly 20min at this point the drink was gone! I state the drink is already gone and she laughs then finally gives us a refund.
