Due to Family gathering from around the Country for impending funeral for the Patriarch of our family....needed appropriate "dress clothing" to wear. Being handi-capped & wheelchair-bound also limits some clothing items for comfort & wearability. not to mention getting around the store easy, reaching up off racks, etc. Fortunately, a terrific lady came to my rescue. She was completely familiar with whereabouts of stock (by catagory, markdowns, etc) and helped me assemble a delightful wardrobe that will not only work well for the Funeral of our loved one we came to town for, but is also very versatile and sensible for a handicapped lady who doesn't walk, hence sits on my "tush" all the time!! As it turns out, this lady was the STORE MANAGER!! And she did excuse herself at times for short periods to attend to store issues or personnel but never once did the "I am the MANAGER Prance".....she just handled everything calmly, efficiently and more than exceeded my expectations (& I spent many years in retail back in Columbus, Ohio)....and I'm sure my purchases $$-wise was more than I intended, but it was so beautifully assembled and cross-matched I'll have no need to shop for quite awhile! My husband didn't even attempt to ask me to " put back" a few items (he shopped for himself also). It was a very...
Read moreI will not be returning to this location. I left this morning crying after the way I was treated. I went in to buy black biker shorts. I found a pair in which unfortunately had no tag on it however it did have the plastic part where a tag should have been. I brought it up to the register (Evelyn) and explained to her there was never a tag on it when I grabbed it off the rack. She says with an attitude “there was a tag on it I see the plastic part” to which I said “yes but when I picked it off the rack the actual price tag was missing” she then responds again rudely with “well that is not what you said you told me there never was a tag so”. After I grabbed a new pair with a tag on it I brought it up to her and she looked at me like I was weird for buying two pairs of black biker shorts and said “really? Both of these?” She then pressed me on buying a credit card even after I repeatedly told her no she wouldn’t stop. My experience with her was not good and leaving a store...
Read moreThis store is right by our house and my wife loves it. Not all their stores are made equally and this one usually has a lot of nice stuff. My wife comes home as if she spent a couple of weeks trading on the Silk Road. One of the staff members, an older female, is a bit maniacal about returns. She was so excited one time to tell me that I couldn't return a tee shirt that had torn a bit on the side because I admitted that the tear was the result of me pulling on an uncomfortable tag. I could have handed her a football and she would have spiked it she was so excited to have denied the return based on what she claimed was my "admission" that I had ruined the tee shirt. Anyway, the younger staff (as usual in retail stores) are friendly and helpful here. Oh and the worst thing you could do would be to go to this place on a Saturday afternoon. Packed. Think like a leper when you are...
