Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Lake Township

If this is the Popeyes location that would deliver to you… don’t bother. I placed a delivery order through their app at 6:18pm. Was told by the app it would be 35 min. Saw the driver was waiting at the location (track thru DoorDash & Popeyes app). At 7:18 I attempted to message the driver and then at 7:45 they CANCELED MY ORDER! Seconds after receiving the cancellation notice from the Popeyes app my bank notifies me that the charge went through. Thankfully I see a refund pending today… but this is the 4th time I’ve ever attempted to receive food from this location. 2 times they said they were OUT OF CHICKEN after a 30min+ drive thru wait. And it wouldn’t surprise me if that was why my order was canceled this time. Since my 7 yr old was so patient that whole time and only cried once the order was canceled I drove him to the location on Ashland near 32nd street. That location is WAY better - I assume it’s way better management because they are always nice and always have their main product… chicken!! It’s always good and on the rare occasion they mess up on an order 1/2 the time you are only missing something minor OR it’s because you ended up with something extra - which is not really a mistake in my book. Forget this location. WORST ONE EVER. Filing complaints with corporate so the people in this part of the city can maybe get a better management team - one who will keep chicken in stock, follow through w orders and give their employees a reason to...

This popeyes is the worst i ordered thru the drive thru and waitied more than 20min for my order to come and nothing. I went inside the store tonsee what was going on, and what do i see , all the employees standing around, doing nothing including the manager. I stood there waiting to be asked and they all just ignored me. The manager was just there talking and talking and ignoring me. While none were doing anything. Finally the mangwr saw me and asked what can she get me and i said i been waiting outside for my order and she just said its just being prepared and theyre waiting on two pieces of chicken to come out? Really ?? Not that i dont mind waiting but this qas ridiculous. Especially people just standing around doing nothing!!!! So i hust told her i dont want the food and give me back my money she just went to see the reciept of my order and disnt even look like she processed my cancelation. I told her you dont need to swipe the card for cancelation, she said no im just matching numbers of the card to your order. And i left. Lazy employees dont wanna do anything. Start hiring workers that would like to work , not talk about how you cant wait to get off or what they are doing tonight. I better get my money back or im calling cooperate and making sure this Popeyes gets some...

They just opened this popoyes not too long ago i was excited for this restaurant to be here i think its the third time i have come in... first time i ordered a 28 piece family meal it took them 35 mins and the cashier was a young black female very rude to the customers who dont speak English calling them names and making fun of them second time i came....all the cashiers were doing something else on their phones third time i came in it was a black guy in there loud and cussing and talking to the cashier i think it was her boyfriend i dont like this staff i wont come here again until popoyes changes their entire staff why would they put an all black staff in a popoye that's basically in a all Hispanic neighborhood doesn'tt make sense no wonder its always empty because the staff dont help the people of that neighborhood this place will close soon if they dont hire bilingual workers for this spot i rather go to popoyes on 35st ashland even if its far from my house that chicken is always hot and fresh and the workers are respectful and hard working avoid this ghetto...
