UPDATE: JUL 2025
Sad to remove stars from this place as their food is delicious but unfortunately the older lady at the front gave me attitude on the phone and in person just bc I was trying to place a pickup/to go order for 3 people. She never asked what I was going to order and just said that they can’t do it bc it’s too large of an order and hung up on me. Mind you I was only ordering pancakes. I showed up to place the order with my dad (my family and I have been long time customers) and she gave me a nastier attitude and said “please understand next time that no means no. We’re not happy about it but we’ll let you do it this time” I ended up just ordering pancakes for one person bc we had to eat something quick as we have a long day ahead of us but I wish I would’ve just left. Needless to say, i’m never coming here again. I don’t want to support a place that talks to its longtime, loyal customers like this. We’re always coming to dine in as a large family to support and we don’t deserve this type of attitude.

Read moreOn my most recent visit to Tom's Place for breakfast, I had an exceptional experience that deserves a perfect 5/5 rating. The welcoming and friendly staff of this family-owned business immediately set a pleasant tone. They offered a breakfast combo priced at approximately $17 with tax, which included two large buttermilk pancakes, deliciously seasoned hashbrowns, savory sausage links, and perfectly cooked eggs. In my opinion, the pancakes were made even more memorable by their unique and delicious syrup. Although it was a busy Saturday afternoon, the service was impressively quick, with only a 15-minute wait for the meal. Having visited the restaurant multiple times, I have enjoyed exploring its diverse menu of Southern breakfast and brunch options, including favorites such as cream cheese-stuffed French toast and creamy grits. It is not just the quality of the food that defines Tom's Place-it is also their commitment to providing an overall delightful dining experience, especially in the back of the yards...
Read moreNewer breakfast spot in back of the yards. Told my wife about it and she decided we should stop in. It was mid morning when we did. Business was bustling. Lady opened it in honor of the late Tom (not sure if that was her husband or brother). Menu is simple. Mainly breakfast stuffs. Had the meat omelette. My wife had the 2 eggs and meat meal. Hers didn't come with hash browns. When we first walked in, we were told it was a 25 min wait for carry out. Then the older lady hostess got snippy about something we weren't talking to her about. Conversing off to the side, she comments on our conversation. Guess she thought we were speaking to her when clearly we weren't. We did wait about 20 mins for our food. Food was just ok. Nothing fancy. Didn't blow our socks off. It was just something that'll fill your belly until lunch. It's cozy. Not much seating inside but there is currently outdoor seating if u choose to dine in. Prices are reasonable. Cool for a quick breakfast before work. I may go...
