Holiday Club — Restaurant in Lake View Township

First & last time visiting here.. Okay so we heard about this place through a friend & decided to check it out.. Nice place but the bartender is kinda racist. We went to the bar to order drinks remind you noone was ordering, we tried to get her attention several times til she finally came over with a nonchalant attitude bushing us off "I'll get to yall in a minute" 20 minutes went pass still no drinks, we left from the bar went to the back danced then came back to order drinks & food, we stood there trying to order for a minute finally a nice security came over & asked if we was tryna to order, we insteadly replied yes he let the cook know that it was 2 more orders coming in because the kitchen was getting ready to close, he told us stand to the side & someone would gladly take our order, waited forever finally the bartender who didn't want to take our order came over asked if we was ready to oder. She took our order & our money without asking what or how we wanted our food, when we try to get here attention again about our order & price she said snotty The order already been placed waving us off like it was nothing. I guess the security noticed what happened so he asked us what's the problem, we calmly explained to him what the problem was & he assisted us, he was very professional, very knowledgeable, he made sure we was comfortable for the little time we was there, we ended up just taking our food to go & said we wasn't going to ever return.. I jog by this bar a lot and had always wanted to stop in on a Wednesday Karaoke night. One Wednesday, I got a group of friends together to go and we were all super excited to sing some tunes. Unfortunately, we had some pretty unpleasant experiences that led us to end our night at Holiday Club early. Right when we walked into the karaoke back room, the bartender kept saying “hola” from across the room to my group of friends in a very condescending way; it seemed racist. Moreover, after situating ourselves and looking through the karaoke song options on our phones, one of my friends went to check the computer to input a song. The karaoke host stomped over and yelled at her in an incredibly rude manner not characteristic of someone successful in the service industry. It dampened the whole atmosphere and we, as well as the only other people there (whom were not the bartender or the karaoke host’s two friends) left the vicinity. Will not be returning to...

I visited this establishment on 12/20/24, and the waitress service was horrible, she brought me a glass of water with no straw. After waiting for her to returned, I decided to take matters into my own hands! I proceeded to go the bars to place my order. Once arriving I saw the waitress, she proceeded to follow me back to my table. After arriving at my table I ask for a straw she left to retrieve a straw, she came back with an unwrapped straw and place it into my drink, she then proceeded to take my order, I order wings , tarts, and nachos. The wings were great but the service was horrible. Even though I did not enjoy the service I did enjoy the karaoke/dance space. The music was okay.
