Chicago Pickle Eatery — Restaurant in Lake View Township

HOW STUPID. I know this joint is known for their chopped cheese but I opted for the Super Deluxe Cheeseburger and are you kidding me????

This isn't just a burger—it's a full-blown flavor symphony. The beef patty was succulent and perfectly seasoned, with a juicy, rich depth that melted in my mouth. Layered on top were ribbons smoky beef bacon.

The sautéed green peppers and cooked onions were tender blending beautifully with the fresh, crisp lettuce shreds and tomato slices. The mayo gave it a creamy finish that tied every element together without overpowering the star ingredients.

It's messy in the best way, like all legendary burgers should be. Hands down, this deserves a spot in Chicago’s top 10 burgers. If you're a burger lover and haven't tried this yet, you're truly missing out.

Very low quality, extremely overpriced. You would think for $15 for a basic turkey sub you’d get fresh bread? Maybe even a pickle spear (based on the name) or a side? Guess again. The bread was extremely stale. Ordered soup and it was cold and didn’t come with crackers. Tasted and looked like the soup was “Bistro Soups” that’s sold in cheap Chicago hot dog shops (this isn’t confirmed but was VERY much like that). I was very hesitant to visit this place purely do to the prices of sandwiches. I should listened to my gut, but the quality is just bad. Uptown BBQ and Pizza a half block away has much better sub sandwiches and better soups. North Buena deli not too far away beats this place x5 for a fraction of the price. Much better options near by....

While looking for a lunch spot on Google, I found Chicago Pickle. What a treat! Free parking in their plentiful lot and no line at 11:30am.

I perused their large menu and had a hard time choosing. The pictures on the wall will help you make the decision and get your mouth watering!

I chose the Bacon Crispy Chicken Sandwich. It took about 15 minutes because it was prepared from scratch. Piping hot, the chicken was thick and juicy with a flavorful coating. It was topped with not your ordinary bacon. Rather, it was thick and chewy...in the BEST way. Great selection, excellent value.

I was impressed by the friendly service and HUGE selection of drinks, chips, sauces and more. This is my new go-to...
