This place rocks! Everything is vegan, delicious, and the portions were well worth the price.

The Italian beef sandwich is delicious. It was and packed with faux meat on a perfect roll that wasn’t too soft or too hard and didn’t fall apart from the juice. It was topped giardiniera (I picked mild but they offered hot).

They didn’t skimp on the fries either. The portion was huge. I added a chocolate shake to my meal and it’s the best one I’ve ever had in Chicago.

I wife had a shake and loved it, too she also ordered the Chicago hotdog and said it was delicious. She was very happy that the bun was steamed.

I will be returning often!

I was really excited to have my first vegan italian beef but unfortunately it fell a little short for me. I saw in the comments you really needed to add the cheese and although I ordered cheese, my order came incorrect- so maybe I was just really missing the cheese. My fiancé got the Italian sausage which was really good, though! I also think the sides are a tad overpriced. $3 for one singular mozzarella stick and $3 for a tiny handful of fries…feels steep. The sandwich was packed full of ‘beef’ though so that was a good bang for your buck. The hot Giardiniera was one of the best I’ve had for sure. I might try again on a future trip...

I can't get enough of the vegan pizza puff at Chicago Not Dogs in X Market Food Hall! It's my absolute favorite in the city. The crispy outer layer perfectly complements the flavorful and gooey vegan cheese inside. Every bite is a burst of deliciousness that keeps me coming back for more.
