The Chicago Park District returned the statue of the nation’s first Treasury Secretary, Alexander Hamilton to its pedestal in Lincoln Park on June 8, 2017. The statue underwent a restoration since its removal in September of 2015. The statue was restored to its original orientation facing north. The statue originally faced north, but was shifted to face south in 1993 to increase exposure to the sun.

I haven’t seen the movie but I really enjoyed my visit to statue. I wanted to thank him for his service! He’s all gold now. Weird way to have your remains displayed but I gotta give it to them, gold is cool! Gold is slick 😎I like it and loved looking at it.
