They were more than eager to help me over the phone and quickly scheduled an appointment. But when I arrived at the establishment, the experience was entirely different. I was met with rudeness and felt stared down the moment I walked in. The woman at the front desk looked me up and down before reluctantly examining the jewelry I had brought in for repair. She spoke to me in a patronizing tone and ultimately told me, “we can’t help.”
The reasons she gave—apparently after consulting the jeweler downstairs—were valid, and I fully understood. I appreciated their insight, so I followed up by contacting another jeweler and then circled back to this establishment to ask if that new suggestion (a trusted smoldering method) was safe. I reached out again, hoping they’d provide some clarity, especially since they had previously emphasized how “other companies don’t care about jewelry the way we do.” But this time, they never responded.
The sudden lack of communication was odd considering how responsive they were when booking the appointment. It gave the impression that they care more about appearances and their reputation than actually helping people with their jewelry or answering honest questions about safe repair options.
Overall: snooty, unhelpful, and not particularly trustworthy. I would recommend taking your jewelry—and your business—to a place that actually cares about the work they do and the...
Read moreI have only good things to say about my entire year long experience at Steve Quick Jewelers. My fiancé and I went browsing for an engagement ring so that I could give him an idea of what I wanted. We worked with Ashley in our initial appointment. She was great. Although she knew we definitely wouldn't be buying that day, she gave us really great service, and stayed very patient. I wasn't sure if my fiancé would end up buying from here, but I made sure to throw Ashley some hints before I left so that she could help guide him in the right direction if he came back. He went back and said Ashley & the entire team made the process so great and stress free for him, there was no need to go anywhere else. Ashley was one of the first people I emailed after the proposal to let her know how much I loved it. Fast forward almost a year later, she reached back out asking us to come back in for a trunk show this past weekend. She was going to be out of town but just wanted to help us set up a time to come in and look around at wedding bands. We worked with Rocky, who was just as amazing! My fiancé and I both loved the positivity, and calm vibes she gave off. It was no pressure, and she very patiently lead us in the direction we needed to be. If you're looking for a laid back, welcoming, one-stop shop definitely...
Read moreI don't often write reviews for companies but I think I'd be doing a disservice to this business if I didn't take a moment to share my love and appreciation for Steve Quick Jeweler and his team.
What a wonderfully professional, kind and accommodating group of individuals that delivered a high level experience from the minute I called to schedule an appointment to the moment I left the store. I cannot recommend this business and their team enough.
I want to especially give a shoutout to Priscilla who was so patient and thoughtful in her questions so she could build the perfect ring for my fiancé. She worked with my truncated timeline, was extremely communicative and delivered a ring that was perfect. My fiancé can't stop talking about "how well I did" and I don't have the heart to tell that it was all Priscilla. The moment I met Priscilla, I felt so well taken care of and I'm just thrilled to sit down and write a review and give her praise. Grateful for her time and skill. Thank you Priscilla.
Thanks again to all those at Steve Quick Jeweler who helped give my fiancé the most amazing ring, thank you, thank you, thank you. For those reading this and looking for a jeweler who will deliver a stellar performance and high level customer service, I cannot recommend Steve Quick...
