Mainstreet Art Center — Attraction in Lake Zurich

After being away from my art for over forty years, I signed up for a class at Main Street Art Center and I stayed. It has been exciting to see my skills and my confidence grow. The instructors there are not only helpful, but generally unified in the instructional techniques that they employ. This makes learning easier when you need to make up a class or when your regular instructor misses a class. The studio is very comfortable. I specially like all the signs that remind us of the direction we need to take in our painting. I had to leave the center when I moved away from the area, but I still hope to get back for a workshop...

Mainstream Art Center is an interesting and fun place to visit! I have purchased a painting there. My husband was asked to model, by one of the owners, for a group of painters, because he had a hugh and fluffy beard! He had a good time doing that! The Art Center is where classes are scheduled and held. There is also the Mainstreet Gallery in the building next door. I have a girlfriend, who is an artist, and has worked at the art center for many years.
