Langley Whale Center — Attraction in Langley

No bathroom for kids or anyone (there is a public restroom a block and a half away). Still requiring face coverings... (June 2022). Volunteers were super nice and informative and seemed genuinely interested in sharing info. There's a little kid area that is kind of like a whale themed center with puzzles, games, books, and coloring pages. My 4 year old seemed to like it. Decent prices. Lots of whale books for all ages. Left with an orca plush and craft kit. If you have whale questions, this is the place to go. Lovely museum! During our visit, there was a volunteer who educated us a great deal about orcas. He patiently answered all our questions and mentioned he was a teacher and been volunteering here for the past few years. I forgot his name, but we were so glad that we got to spend our time there, with him walking us through the whale center. It’s amazing how they keep track of these giants and it’s evident that they find joy in what they do! We left this place inspired and do our bit to protect Mother Nature.
