My brother and his wife have been visiting with us for the past few days. Yesterday, my they sat down at the diningroom table and my brother said..."I brought you something"! He reached in his pocket and pulled out a plastic baggie with something that looked like sand in it. On the baggie was written "Dee's Ashes". He had brought me some of my mother's ashes. When my mother passed away, my brother put some of my mother's ashes under the carpet in my nephew's 66 Mustang so she could always go for a ride with him. Well, my daughter was visiting my brother a few month's ago and asked if there were any of my mom's ashes anywhere. I was so excited to have been given the gift of some of my mother's ashes. I immediately took them down to Callahan's Glass Galary. My wife helped me select a glass heart with a purple swirl pattern to have my mother's ashes blended in. Here is the result of that piece of glass artwork. Thank you, Callahan's you have no idea how much this means to me.

I’ve been coming to this blown glass shop for years—the quality is amazing. I have a pair of earrings I bought here many years ago that have been constantly, and they still look just as beautiful as the day I got them. Most recently, I stopped in to pick out a gift for a family member who lost everything in a fire. The staff were incredibly kind and even included a little extra to help brighten her day. While I was there, a local charity came by asking if the shop would be willing to donate something to their fundraiser again this year—and without hesitation, they agreed. Apparently, they had already supported the event the year before. It’s clear they truly care about giving back and supporting the community. Kind, generous, and full of heart—this is exactly the kind of place I’m proud to support.

The glasswork here is truly beautiful, and there's even an opportunity to create your own pieces with booking a session. They offer a wonderful selection of hand-blown items. However, we did find the prices to be inflated, as many other reviewers have noted; additionally none of the staff greeted us or spoke to us while browsing. Cool venue and definitely worth a visit, just be sure to bring your wallet if you want to purchase something small.

I'm reviewing the little coffee shop they have the gallery area, not the glass blowing experience. I haven't blown glass here - and can't speak to that. The little shop in front is very small - it's more of a stand - but the coffee is very good. The employees are friendly and chat with you, which is a nice change from ordering and being moved down the line (like other places do). You can browse the beautiful gallery while waiting, or sit right outside and relax. Good, hot fresh made coffee -...
