Boatyard Inn - Vacation Rentals — Local services in Langley

We've stayed at the Boatyard Inn a few times over the last decade, always in one of the studio suites facing the water. All of those visits were memorable and excellent. We booked the townhouse behind the studio buildings this time (December 2024). We've rented all kinds of ABnb's over the years along with hotels. This townhouse is the nicest, cleanest accommodation we've stayed in. The view from the townhome isn't great but the unit is well laid out, has everything you need (including bathrobes and full gear kitchen). We were going to stay 3 nights but the power went out the first morning and wasn't on by dark so we let the owner know and departed. The owner gave us a nice credit and was very responsive. We came to the Boatyard Inn to celebrate Valentines Day. The location is spectacular and our lovely room was right on the water, with the mountains off in the distance. The room has been recently remodeled and it feels brand new. We sat on the new couch and had a glass of wine in front of the fireplace while listening to the waves lap against the shore. Love the little private deck outside the living room. And with the full kitchen (including the dishwasher), it feels more like a beach side condo than a hotel. Easy walk into town yet very private at the same time. Even though it took less than two hours to get here door to door, it feels like we are in a world away...This is a great value. Highly...

My wife needed some time away from the daily grind and from the stress of recent medical concerns. I contacted Mynda, the innkeeper, at the last minute to inquire about availability. She was incredibly helpful and prompt in getting back to my inquiry. She was able to settle my wife into a beautiful studio at beach level—where she could be close to the comforting water. As other reviews have mentioned, the room was very clean and well-appointed like it was recently remodeled. Walking distance from everything.
