OK, Winn Dixie. Issues with your deli! You've been my go to grocer for a long time but I never tried your delivery of which I was in dire need today. I tried the app from my phone which was insane slow and choppy. After 90 minutes I got through the app. I specifically needed 3 items from the deli and received 3 texts asking for substitutions to which I replied immediately. Even got a thumbs up response to reply. My Door Dash driver arrived with absolutely no deli items and told me that the deli "wasn't slicing anything". I called the store and was told that the deli was closed. I'm wondering why I was asked for substitutions if the deli was closed. This scenario smells bad to say the least. Seems to me like someone decided they didn't care about my deli items. I'll consider carefully where I get deli items in the future. I wouldn't be so critical if I hadn't experienced other problems. It's my understanding that the deli should be open during regular store hours. On more than one occasion I've been told that the deli hasn't opened yet or the deli has closed before store closing time. If I'm incorrect I admit my error but if deli and store hours are congruent then there is a problem. If management wants to change the deli hours for whatever reason that's fine, but let your customers know what the hours are so customers aren't inconvenienced. I'll gladly change my rating if the deli situation improves and I do wish to continue to keep buying your deli items because I love the products and the sales. Please help fix this......UPDATE It has been several months since this initial review. In that time Winn-Dixie has provided top notch service for me and my family. Deli meats and cheeses are excellent. We've also given their delivery another try. Since the last review we've received several successful deliveries from courteous and helpful drivers. Read moreTheir ad had a "mix and match" for xx $. I bought 2 of the pictured items to mix and match. Bread and peanut butter. I was charged the full price on both items! The cashier said she didn't know how to adjust it, go to customer service. Well, customer service line, 5 ppl in front of me and I had bought hot deli items for dinner, so I just went home to eat. Called the next day, was told (by Jill? I think) to come back to customer service w my receipt. So I did. Customer service lady/person: mmmm... no name tag, short dark hair, came from the back w/what kind of looked like an apron on? I told her I called the day before, and the problem, gave her the receipt, AND the ad stating the mix and match items I purchased O.m.g...... "Uhhh!! WELL!! I'LL have to go FIND these and scan them!!" "I can't just go off the receipt!!"
I thought, Um, OK then, sorry to put you out of your CUSTOMER SERVICE JOB.🤔 She returns (she had the receipt and ad with her) and said she spoke to her manager and there was nothing she could do. I had to buy TWO of the same items to get the discount!" No, I said, and pointed out MIX AND MATCH on your coupon! She wasn't having it!! Said that's what my mgr told me! I asked for that person, she pointed him out, I went to HIM and EXPLAINED MIX AND MATCH ... he finally "got it".
Then he walked back with me to 'Suzy Sunshine' to tell her "This time we'll reimburse the lowest priced item for her."
THIS TIME???? I said nothing. Just couldn't even believe the hassle and attitude I went through for your printed advertisement.

Read moreHappy Super Bowl Sunday! So, i just returned home from Winn Dixie. My shopping experience was chill for the most part. Made to the self check out and was doing my thing when I was rudely approached by a Winn Dixie associate. She told me that i was wrong for putting my bags into my cart after i had scanned them . It is my understanding that once scanned and bagged, especially if I'm running out of room that i should place into the cart. And might i add that i am legally blind so it just makes more than enough sense for me to not stack bags of groceries on top of each other in such a small packing area. If i dropped my eggs, who's fault would it be? Mine? No thank you! Instead of helping and/or educating me on the supposed policy, Older CAROL questioned my shopping etiquette. She then proceeded to give me a miserable attitude. When i asked her name she told me "My name is Carol so have it your way". If you are in customer service and cannot find it in yourself to empathize with the customer, work in the back where you can't offend anyone. Honestly, left a terrible taste in my mouth.
