another great dive bar in the area, you do not need to bring your own smokes because the air you breath is all you need, the bartender/waitress/chef works hard, all the while holding her smoke in her cake hole. Good stuff. Music is good, the corned beef on rye and the beef dip are delicious and what at great price, half of what you would pay anywhere else, if you are a member of a motorcycle club, you are welcome if not wearing colors, it says so right on the door. Affectionately known amongst its regulars as "The Dub," this bar is most certainly worth the visit as it is the penultimate in dive bars. This is a place where half the bar is assembled with pressboard, and the carpet, even when recently replaced, looks as if it recalls the Nixon administration with fondness. You will find no appletinis being served here! However, everyone is quite friendly, and the staff is super attentive. If you're ever feeling down, visit the pub and it will brighten your evening.
