Largo Central Park on December 23rd was an absolute delight, earning a well-deserved five stars in my book. The Christmas light display was nothing short of magical, creating an enchanting atmosphere that left a lasting impression on both my kids and me. The park's meticulous attention to detail in the decorations showcased a commitment to spreading holiday cheer. Navigating through the dazzling lights, we felt immersed in a festive wonderland. The variety of displays was impressive, from classic holiday scenes to imaginative light sculptures that sparked joy in everyone, especially the kids. Santa's corner was a highlight, with a warm and welcoming setup that made our visit truly special. What sets Largo Central Park apart is its dedication to creating a family-friendly experience. The live entertainment added an extra layer of joy, and the overall organization of the event ensured a smooth and enjoyable evening for all attendees. From start to finish, the park's Christmas light display on December 23rd was a heartwarming and memorable experience, making it a must-visit during the holiday season. Largo Central Park exceeded expectations and provided our family with a five-star celebration of the festive spirit.

Conveniently located at the crossroads of two of the most traveled roads in Largo, East Bay Drive and Seminole, This park is very large and spaced out, however, offers ample shade throughout. Largo Central Park offers such popular amenities as walking trails (which are dog friendly), picnic areas, secure parking lots and a beautiful array of plant life. This is all mostly-shaded by grand Spanish Moss Trees that do a terrific job at keeping your vehicle cool from the Florida sun in the parking lot to allowing you and your family/friends to enjoy what the park has to offer. My children thoroughly enjoyed the huge gated playground that is on premises. There are many different playground structures of different sizes that cater to the vast age range of kids that play there. The great playground size allows a large number of children to be able to enjoy all at the same time without seeming too crowded. SEASONAL: For the winter season, the park maintains a gorgeous display of Holiday lights of many styles along with a ferris wheel, photo-booth and carousel rides. Tickets are kind of pricey for the rides but well worth the enjoyment at $5/ticket which admits a single rider of any age. For $20 you receive 5 tickets.

This is such a great park! Playground is perfect for ages 2-12 year olds. It offers plenty of shade and its fenced in so you don't have to worry about Littles running into the parking lot. They have plenty of toddler climbing equipment as well as older kid climbing equiptment. Next to the kids playground is a area for teens/ adults to workout using outdoor equiptment. This area is also fully shaded as well. There are bathrooms located near the playground/ parking lot. The parking lot offers plenty of parking spaces as well as a charging station for electric vehicles. Picnic areas there are plenty! All are shaded with plenty of seating available. There are walking paths throughout the park that have some shaded areas. There is a field you can have your kids run around to get extra energy out or play with balls. I believe they are building a teen area next to the playground for teens to utilize. I can't wait to see this park lit up for with lights for the holidays, I bet it looks beautiful.

Was so glad to find this beautiful park on google maps while visiting the Clearwater area. This park is enormous with well maintained lawns and shaded areas. Kids area, teen area, picnic tables, large outdoor areas for sports, walking trails and they even have a train ride. Loved how they had swings for every child stage; infant/parent swing, infant swing, toddler style swing and the big kids/adult swings. From high-climbing, to pretend play, “mountain” climbing, or even the spider style webbed ropes, spinning devices and slides 🛝, there is something for every age. Astroturf covers most of the children’s playground. Plenty of benches to sit while the kids run around. Restroom was near-by and was decent. Could have been better maintained but it’s what you would expect from a public park. Would highly recommend to anyone!
