We go here during Christmas time for the amazing light display alone. It's cool that they add the little food, craft, and small businesses. There's a firepit that you can roast marshmallows and make smores. Of course, you have to buy the stuff for it, but it's pretty cool. They even have long sticks for the kids to use. There were a few little photo ops set up. The lines weren't too bad, and the rides and ticket prices were a bit excessive. If they are going to charge that much, they just shouldn't come. This is my favorite Christmas light experience. It's inexpensive and breathtaking. Now, I know the park isn't just about the Christmas experience. With that being said, this park is so freaking cool! They have the best playground I've found in the Tampa Bay area. There are so many different things to do for all the different age groups, but also for all types of children. The ground is that fake rubbery texture to minimize accidents and injuries. Whoever designed this playground really knew what they were doing. It's fenced in, too, with many different seating options. The bathrooms are right next to the playground, which is very thoughtful. The park is pretty big. There's also a train that takes the kids around on a railroad track, with a pick-up location. It's the coolest! I definitely recommend this park to everyone and anyone. There was even a sign for the "teen" area, not sure what that consisted of. We didn't venture over there. The only negative was all the homeless people everywhere. It was sad. Very dog friendly and restrooms were...

Read moreConveniently located at the crossroads of two of the most traveled roads in Largo, East Bay Drive and Seminole, This park is very large and spaced out, however, offers ample shade throughout. Largo Central Park offers such popular amenities as walking trails (which are dog friendly), picnic areas, secure parking lots and a beautiful array of plant life. This is all mostly-shaded by grand Spanish Moss Trees that do a terrific job at keeping your vehicle cool from the Florida sun in the parking lot to allowing you and your family/friends to enjoy what the park has to offer. My children thoroughly enjoyed the huge gated playground that is on premises. There are many different playground structures of different sizes that cater to the vast age range of kids that play there. The great playground size allows a large number of children to be able to enjoy all at the same time without seeming too crowded. SEASONAL: For the winter season, the park maintains a gorgeous display of Holiday lights of many styles along with a ferris wheel, photo-booth and carousel rides. Tickets are kind of pricey for the rides but well worth the enjoyment at $5/ticket which admits a single rider of any age. For $20 you...
