This review is for Veronica in the beauty/perfume department. I was out in Vegas to celebrate my sons birthday with family that live out there. I wanted to shop around for a gift and remembered there was a Curacao in the city so decided that was the perfect place to buy the gift. As I entered the store on (01/03/2025) I was greeted by a very kind security guard. I walked over to the beauty/perfume department to look around. My son who turned 13 wanted a cologne so I wanted to get something nice for him. As soon as I entered that department, I was greeted by a very sweet lady (Veronica). She introduced herself and asked very kindly if I needed help in finding a specific item. I told her I was looking for something for a young teen. She immediately walked me to an area where there was a large selection of affordable and great items (men body spray sets for approx $10) I simply loved that she wasnt so eager to make a “big sale” I grabbed the sets and kept looking around. She then told me politely that she was currently assisting other customers and she will give me some time to look around in the meantime. I respected that she was taking care of another customer and didnt want to interrupt at that moment so I approached another employee that was in the same department (cant recall her name). I asked if they had cologne sets and she immediately walked me towards the counter showcases to show me the gift sets they usually put together on their own. Which included 1 cologne and a few skin care and misc items. Which I can assume it sums up to over $200 maybe? Not that im being cheap but I obviously wanted to pay for something I know my son was gonna use. I told her all the skin care wasn’t necessary and I would rather buy something useful for my 13yr old son. I asked if they had the cologne boxed sets and she just pointed and said “over there” At that point, I felt as if she wasn’t interested in helping or making a simple sale. I walked over myself, grabbed a cologne set and went back to ask her for a price check. She refused to help me and said “you can ask her for the price when shes done, I could only give you the price for these” I was confused! I understand if she was there selling for an outside company/vendor, and didnt have access to a register but this was not the case. Come on, ive been working retail for years and customer service is always priority so she could have at least explain if she wasn’t a Curacao employee and was there for another vendor and selling specific items only, or even walk over to the other employee and kindly ask for a price check for that item, since im pretty sure she would have done if I would have asked for a price check for one of the “more expensive bigger sets” because initially she offered herself to help look for a cologne. To top it off, she just rudely walked away! I patiently waited for Veronica to finish up with the other customer and as soon as she was done she walked over to me and answered all questions without hesitation. To conclude, she made me feel so comfortable and even started showing me some makeup products that she has used herself and I grabbed about 8 items and wanted more but were out of stock. I ended up leaving the body spray sets and buying 2 cologne sets, which she helped me pick out. Moral of the story is…always be kind to ALL customers no matter the amount of the purchase, even if theyre just there to “look around” This is the reason why I give Veronica 5+ stars! Read moreOpened a credit line in September of 2023. Bought 3 high priced items (Xbox, home theatre, GE air fryer). All 3 don't work. I asked for warranty for all 3, they only gave me warranty for the air fryer. Made the mistake of going back for Christmas of 2024. They gave me the red card, and sent multiple offers which promised 0 interest. I took the offer, I made a $400 purchase and asked at the counter if the offer was still valid, I was told it was. I received my first statement and sure enough there was an interest charge. Also a credit shield charge, which I do not remember signing up for. It's alarming how terrible condition their products are, along with the price. As well as the ineptitude of the staff. Big time money grab.
Update: Curacao representatives replied to my review here, and asked for my account information. I'm not sure why they asked, but I emailed them and never got a response back. I assume it's for publicity. As I came back to update my review, I noticed alot of 5 Star reviews. I can only assume they are phoney, because I've been there a few times and their service is abysmal. It's crazy the length they will go to for appearance, rather than help out actual existing customers. Beware potential new customers.

We went in to buy a couch, washer and dryer cause we just moved into a new place we signed up for their club paid the $189 thinking we’re gonna get free interest for 4 to 6 months. It’s been two months and they’re already charging $109 a month in interest. The lady was telling us oh you guys spent this amount so you get a free TV so we said OK we’ll take it all said and done come down to it. They charged us for the TV a 43 inch. They charged us almost $300 with that same 43 inch at Walmart or anywhere else is $200. We went ahead and put warranty on our washer and dryer, but not the couch or the TV. We’re looking over the paperwork when I get home. It says we don’t have warranty on the dryer only the washer why. This is insane and they’re scamming people left and right.
