I was recommended this hair salon and I loved the style she did on the person who referred me. My experience was HELL. She did my hair so pretty but it smelt burnt. I ignored it and thought maybe it was because it was my first silk press. I’ve been natural since 2014. I washed my hair three weeks after my service and my hair did not revert back at all to it’s natural curl state. I contacted her, she was very unprofessional and stated she doesn’t know why it didn’t revert back its not her fault! She said she’s done many people with my hair texture and she doesn’t know what to tell me. She stated she only put shampoo and conditioner on my hair, no heat protection?!?! Which is what is needed to protect natural hair, I am at a lost for words and disappointed, I now have to cut my natural hair, nearly bald to get rid of the damage she’s caused, I’m embarrassed. My hair in the back is completely burnt/fried, I have straight ends all over my head. My hair is unmanageable. I reached out to her again after washing my hair 5 times over the course of time from my service that was provided by Maria, like she suggested me to and my hair is still not reverting back. My hair is my baby, and she ruined it, she is taking no accountability and is refusing to refund me. I look like I have a perm. I cried about this my hair is important to me, and I trusted...

Went to get my hair cut and styled. Came in and showed him what I was looking for ahead of time and made sure what I wanted was to be done to my hair. Booked the appointment, and I go. Once done my hair looked so terrible! I had to spend 100$ somewhere else to fix the terrible highlights he left me with. And he was originally going to charge me almost 200$ for my cut and style. My hair was brown before and in the end there was literally a line across my whole head where the highlights started. It was so humiliating! Told me afterwards too that he doesn’t even like to do highlights like how I wanted. (Just wanted an ombré for a short hair cut) had long hair before appointment* In addition he left me with layers which I DID NOT ask for specifically I didn’t want any layers.. I’m from Jamaica and I needed a quick wash and set for my birthday and I must say my experience here was amazing! Ms. Neuris Gonzalez was so sweet,professional and she gave me tips of how I can care my hair. The prices are affordable and resonable. I got a wash,set, blow dry, flat iron and leave in treatment for only $30 (she even offered to trim my ends for free as a birthday gift). While putting me under the dryer she made sure I was comfortable and gave me magazines to read. With every blow or curl through my hair she made sure that my hair was styled perfectly.There is free WiFi and candy at the reception desk and the decor is very nice and modern. The next time I visit the United States I’ll definitely be coming here to do my hair again and I’ll be telling all my friends and family members to visit here as well.
