EZPAWN (8028 Pendleton Pike, Lawrence) — Attraction in Lawrence

Honestly thought the manager was very rude and has a horrible way with interacting with customers. Instead of him being understanding, he was quick to make a poor judgement towards me as if he knew me personally, accepted the item that I was pawing and then was quick to change his mind due to him saying " I don't trust that you will come back after giving you a loan, so im declining the item". Again right after he gave me an offer, he changed his mind for no reason. That was his exact words and it gave me a horrible experience and I will never step foot back in and will never recommend that location to anyone. Went to the nearest pawn shop right across the street and they told me the old manager was way nicer than the current one and it was very weird for the current manager to make an offer and then change his mind. I see how quick people can get promoted and not know how to manage the right way. I think he needs to brush up on his people skills especially since a lot of people will see this review. I believe in " 'atta boys" or recognition of a job well done, if you will. That said. I had to stop by the ex pawn to repay a loan today well suffice it to say that sometimes life happens and gets in the way of smooth sailing. Well anyway Christy help me today and she was able to help me work through any and all of the things getting in the way of just easy peasy paying my loan and getting my bike back but with Christie's help everything went as good as I could have hoped for. I got my bike back, paid my loan off and well I just I just like when life happens and everything gets sticky when somebody steps up and helps you out and gets the job done without it being an international incident you know what I mean. I visit this store (8028 Pendleton Pike) at least 3 times a month, always looking for chainsaws and other types of tools. Today, I lucked out and found a new-in-box jump-starter and an armload of recently-discounted Dremel bits.

My sales gal, Izzy, was the picture of patience and very helpful in getting everything in-putted and priced, and handled this 30+-item sale like it was just another deal. Izzy also made me aware of (and sold me on) the product protection plan on the charger, which I appreciate because "electronics".

Because my work takes me all around Indianapolis, I visit pawn shops all over the city regularly. It's always a pleasure to visit this store because of the selection and prices.
