Durbin Bowl — Attraction in Lawrenceburg Township

This rating is because of the incredibly rude and unprofessional staff. My family went here tonight for a fundraiser event and our tickets entitled us to 3 games. We arrived late and the place was packed which was fine with me because that meant more money for the cause, and we were meeting a group that had already arrived. We sat and enjoyed chatting with friends, but when our group left we still hadn't bowled due to arriving late and the group already started playing. My fiancee went to speak with the employee at the desk to ask him to reset the lane we were in so we could play. My fiancee spoke to the employee politely and respectfully, making every statement with a "yes sir" or "no sir" despite this guy looking like he had done more than his fair share of meth in his life. This guy then has the audacity to accuse my fiancée of being rude and says, "If you call me sir one more time you better be ready to kiss me!" He eventually resets our lane and allows us to play. We found out that the incident was reported to the person in charge of the fundraiser, and I'm not sure if it went any farther. As we were leaving we overheard the same guy say to another employee, "I'm not afraid to get in trouble." My fiancée is a veteran who has done multiple deployments overseas and was taught to address people with dignity and respect even if they are undeserving crackheads working at a bowling alley. Not likely we will be coming back. We'll just bowl on our side of the river.... better places...

Absolutely HORRIBLE place to go, the two kids “running” the bowling alley were rude and very nasty to my group. We were lied to, harassed to, and treated disgusting. The bar was just as hatful and disgusting as well. Highly recommend to NOT go here, especially with children. It’s beyond disgusting as well. Go to Harrison Ohio, much nicer and cleaner then durbin. It’s worth the drive, I can assure you that. Save your money and time. I had to demand to speak with the owner and still got nowhere. Horrible experience and horrible customer service. Unless you’re “friends” with the owner don’t bother wasting time, money, and aggravation. The so called “leagues” which are just fundraisers FYI, will get treated with all the upmost “respect” and time while you get treated like absolute garbage. Durban bowl is a great place. You can take the family there for family night, go there on a date (any age) go out for a girls or guys night and after bowling you can hang out I'm the bar! They also have an amazing fishbowl there that you can try and finish yourself or share with friends. As well as have your child's birthday party there as I have 2 different times. They have an arcade with games and a air hockey table there. They have bumpers to put up for the kids to bowl and also have a deal with papa Johns and domino's I belive as well for $5 any large 1 topping pizza. They allow you to bring in children's drinks for party's but adult beverages and pop have to be purchased...
