Last night Bolton sang beautifully - but Securty was so bad that We literally waited for someone to inappropriately jump on stage with him … we had front roll tickets for a reason and when buying those tickets one had to buy 1 or 3 not just 2 so we were forced to purchase a 3rd seat that we never used in order to ascertain where we wanted to sit to see the performance…THE SECURITY there was if their were NONE !! What seemed to be intoxicated people packed the down front area stepping on your feet dancing and taking selfies … between the front roll and the stage shoulder to shoulder people that came down to the front from all types of seating areas … We were literally waiting for someone to fall in our laps …I was there 6 yrs ago and people were required to stay in their seats as this is a small venue and little room for walking let alone packing shoulder to shoulder in a small area and more and more people trying to force their way down front … to say the least the crowd was out of control with absolutely NO SECURTY GUIDANCE PERIOD … the young security guard came and ask a few individuals to go back to their seats and set down which she was totally ignored then she quickly disappeared as she was significantly out numbered then even more people packed the area until it was shouter to shoulder and pushing … while the other security guard up front was belly laughing at this out of control situation then he disappeared and you were left on your own so we then decided to leave for safety reasons before the show ever ended …very...
Read moreHonest review... Went to Ace Frehley last night and had floor seats. When we went to sit down our seats did not exist. We had to wait a few minutes for them to add chairs for our seats which happened to many people on the floor-situation fixed. When the show started most people moved towards the stage (I was in row 4 on the aisle seat and remained there). People stood in front of me coming from who knows where, but here is where the honesty comes in -WHO CARES! It was a great atmosphere for the type of show that it was and the artist expected people to be crazy and have a good time. This is not a place to go to a Rock concert, get front row seats and expect to sit in your seat and see the stage....it's not going to happen. There are only 2 concession stands once inside and two restrooms. Expect to wait if you going during busy times (like between acts). If you are in the riser seats they are not bad (I have sat there too) and I don't feel like I'm in a death trap where I can't get out if something should happen (unlike the Hollywood casino venue nearby). I have been to many live shows and there is concert etiquette and expectations. Don't ask the person in front of you to sit down cause it probably won't happen, don't expect others to not drink excessively because it probably won't happen and know the venue before you go. AND try to let yourself just listen to the music, even dance a little and maybe you'll enjoy yourself for the few hours that you...
Read moreWe went to the Lawrenceburg Event Center (LEC) 4/22/2022 and were totally captivated by the performance put on by The Little River Band. The sound was excellent and much better than what it was for the opening act, The Kevin McCoy Band. Ninety percent of what The Kevin McCoy Band sang was unintelligible.
This was our first experience with Lawrenceburg Event Center, and I thought that it was associated with the Hollywood Casino. We'd arrived at the casino over an hour early just for a situation such as this and a casino employee told us that it was not on their premises.
We found the Center in plenty of time, had a beer and entered the showroom. It is a really decent place to see a concert, but I agree with others that the management is a bit lacking in making sure that people go to the seats that they reserved. There were a couple of instances where people took it upon themselves to take seats that they hadn't paid for and had to be told politely by the people that were assigned those seats to...move on.
If there is another act that we'd like to see that is performing at the LEC we would definitely give...
