I have had the privilege to take several quilting classes here with the teacher Andrea Hoke. First of all the prices of the classes are extremely reasonable secondly, the information that you receive before each class is perfect explaining what you need for that day, thirdly, I cannot say enough about the teacher, Andrea Hoke. She is just WONDERFUL! She is a MASTER QUILTER and Extremely knowledgeable! Her work is breathtaking! She also makes the class time fun and interactive. Read moreWhat a fun shop! They had several rooms with a variety of items to buy- decorative items, fun gifts, and fabric notions. They also had a large fabric selection at great prices. Lots of beautiful batiks. A great selection of Kaffe Fassett. They allowed 1/4 yard cuts but for some of the fabrics there was a really good discount if you bought half a yard or more. And they have a room with some quilts for sale- excellent deals when you consider the quilts are handmade- lots of pieces and hand-quilted. Huge parking lot in the back. Read moreI took a class here and it was a pleasure. They have great spaces for classes. My classmates said they enjoyed all the classes they have attended here. The employees were also very helpful when I called before my visit, from out of town, and asked for local lodging recommendations.
They offer many types of classes: quilting, hand embroidery, and the like. They have an excellent fabric selection, besides books on sewing and various sewing-related handcrafts. They also carry an assortment of kitchen gadgets (in the adjacent space).
