This store has a lot of really cute items, and I was genuinely looking forward to making a purchase. Unfortunately, I had a negative interaction with a staff member that led me to leave instead. My mother, who has mobility issues, was taking some time to come down the stairs. She was apologizing to the employee for the delay, but the employee responded with clear impatience and rudeness. I had already reached the bottom of the stairs and the staff member, not realizing we were together, walked past me while making unkind comments under her breath. When I asked her to repeat what she said, she became defensive and attempted to justify her behavior. This happened on 9/10 around 10:45 AM. I didn’t catch her name, but she had short reddish-brown hair. I sincerely hope the store owner can use this as a learning opportunity, especially when it comes to interacting respectfully with customers who have mobility challenges. If you want good quality furniture at a reasonable price, this is the place for you. We live 2 hrs away and we still make the trip.
