Located on the corner of the Kettle Kitchen Village, the Pygmy Goat Petting Zoo is an unexpected morale booster for those that have spent a few hours shopping and are feelings the benefits of retail therapy declining, particularly children and husbands! Offering a self-serve feeding option, visitors are able to receive scoops of feeding pellets in exchange for quarters, placed in the machine and turned, much like the gumball machines of old. If visitors find themselves short of a few quarters, a nearby machine will provide them in exchange for $1 or $5 bills. I had visited the petting zoo while in town to visit the Sight & Sound theatre and a quick tour of the local area turned into watching the time drift away while feeding goats and watching them interact with my family. From what I could see during my visit, the enclosure was clean, well-supplied with climbing apparatus and water stations, and there was practically no smell of goats or any of their droppings. Cautious parents should be aware that the pygmy goats were well-mannered, non-aggressive while vying for the best spot along the fence to receive food, and teeth were small and unlikely to cause damage or discomfort, and a hand-cleaning station is positioned nearby to enable visitors to continue their day germ-free. There are few more pure and precious pleasures in life than those that involve our interactions with animals. It is for this simple and unembellished reason that all visitors to the area should take the time to feed, observe, and appreciate the pygmy goats on offer at the marketplace - whether you intend to patronize the local business, or not!

Stumbled upon this place one day while out exploring the area. It was closed but you could still buy feed and pet the goats through the fence. The area is nice and clean and there's a lovely space for the goats. You can tell they are well cared for.

Had a great time visiting and feeding the goats. However, some of the feeder machines were taking our quarters and not dispensing goat food. Their was no one to ask for help. Otherwise, kiddos had a blast!

Unfortunately, the goats were completely uninterested in coming over to say hello. I bought pellets hoping that would help but the machine just ate my quarters. I (finally) was able to get a few pellets from one machine but the goats still didn’t care. I wish we could get up close and pet them but that’s not the case. The closest a little goat got to me was about 15 feet away lol. There’s other places nearby, where you could actually pet the goats and other animals. I’d maybe go there if you’re looking for a more hands on experience. These little beauties are more of sight to see...

We had the best time at the pygmy goat petting zoo! The goats were absolutely adorable—tiny, playful, and incredibly friendly. It was such a joy to be surrounded by these cute little animals. They were gentle and loved interacting with visitors, especially kids. The whole setup was clean, well-organized, and clearly cared for with love. It’s a perfect spot for families or anyone who enjoys spending time with animals. Definitely a feel-good experience that’s worth...
