This museum is very unique and definitely worth the $5 to get in. Although it is a small place, it is packed full of amazing historical items. The gentleman that owns the shop can tell you the history of most all of the things in the museum, and from what I learned most all of it is his personal collection, or gifts from veterans. He talked to us for quite a while and told us many amazing stories about different artifacts he had. As a history nerd and teacher I high recommend a visit when in the area.

Wished we could’ve entered this museum. But it was closed on a Thursday, loved the outdoors here anyway and had to stop just to check it all out. There seems like lots to see but places are closed or shut down early. Not the best way to attract history buffs like us. Love this community.

We took a detour here as part of a larger trip. Apparently the place is closed but the web does not reflect that. As a history geek I was really looking forward to this. Such a waste of time and gas.

I've gone to militaria & war museum's up and down the east coast but never visited the edged weapon museum until summer of 2019. I still think about it often, what a incredible little museum. the older couple working the front (which I assume were the owners) were kind and knowledgeable, willing to answer all questions. the broad scope of the collection was remarkable covering almost all United states engagements up until modern era, my personal favorite section was the early OSS stuff and the WWII divers knife display. a lot of rare pieces under display and the museum is very easy to follow. I hope to pay this place another visit as soon...

This little museum packs more amazing exhibits per square foot of floor space than any other military museum I have ever visited. I had the pleasure of spending time with the owner Mr. Larry Thomas. A WWII veteran of the Army Air Forces with time on the B-17 bomber, it was a pleasure getting to know this man who did so much to preserve and share this important part of American martial arms history. If you are a student of American military history from the Civil War to the Middle East, then you need to see this place, it...
