Hi!! Okay I have so so much to say about The Ark Church of Gulf Coast. I obviously can’t fit it all in this little box, but man I just want to say, if you are praying and searching for a place to go, they are praying right along with you. Yes. They’re not judging you if you don’t end up at their church, they trust that if God wants you there, He will keep you there and if not then we all believe God is still good and has a different plan. I have been going to this church since late February , and I can only report amazing miracles. Blessing after blessing and -joy. Pure, abundant joy. I know I have I family here, and I know that God placed me here for a reason. If I’m here for a season, or if I’m here the rest of my life, (I hope you’ll come up to me as a grandma and say “HEY YOU’RE STILL HERE??” And I’ll whip out my cane and throw it in the air and say “yep.” It’ll be awesome, trust me) anyways, like I said, I love this place. God has brought me so much closer to Him, and I genuinely have wanted to get so much closer because I have learnt the God I serve through Pastor Brandon’s teachings and seeing the congregation’s personal trust and relationships with God. It gave me hope that I would find what I’d always searched for. They are Bublically based, and don’t go with the flow of what sounds pretty. If it’s a message that The Holy Spirit has put on Pastor Brandon’s heart, it’s gonna be preached, regardless if Pastor Brandon wants to talk about it or not. God said to talk about it, and this man is obedient!! That’s so important and refreshing to me personally. If The Ark is somewhere you feel called to, please, I implore you, take a leap of Faith, and take a step into this beautiful, anointed House of God. God bless and I hope to see you soon, or maybe when I’m waaaaay older and still truckin’ with my...
Read moreMy husband, our 2 kids, and I have been attending The Ark Church Gulf Coast for a few months now, and recently became members of the church. In our very first visit to the church, we noticed how friendly everyone was and found it sweet that everyone made us feel so welcomed. In the very first service, we knew that the Ark was our new home church. We could tangibly feel the presence of God throughout the service. It was apparent very quickly how much genuine love everyone had for each other and how much connection, relationship, and community is valued there. We truly appreciate that this church teaches from the word of God, and is a great place for both new believers and for those who have been followers of Christ for a long time. We enjoy the many opportunities to be a part of what God is doing there through Sunday services in larger gatherings, and in various medium and small groups like discipleship, women’s, and men’s groups, etc. I personally attended the Women’s Retreat in the spring and it was a pivotal and life changing experience for me. Every service we attended, we feel encouraged in our faith and challenged to grow and go deeper our my walk with Jesus. It has been truly refreshing to be in a place where we can be ourselves, be loved right where we are, and have a safe place to grow and learn to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ, and learn how to do that for others. This impact on us has extended to some of our family members who later began attending there after not going to church for several years and not attending pretty regularly. One soon after attending, gave her life to Christ and was baptized. We thank God that He helped us and our family members find a place where we can all grow together to know Him better and how to be...
Read moreWe have been going to the Ark since Feb 11 2024! We had been at another church for 15 years so the process of finding a new church wasn’t easy. From the minute we walked in the doors we felt at home. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Ok now on to what I call the deal breakers. The worship, I am not the biggest fan of worship being a production. At the Ark worship is about worship. It’s not about the lights or a show. To me this was one of the biggest things that pulled me in. I enjoy when worship sets the stage for our hearts and the message. Which leads me to the message. The message, yes and again I say yes. Pastor Brandon unapologetically preaches the word. Not the fluff or feel good but the word. Now in today’s “church” culture that’s the exception not the Normal. Well at the Ark that is the Normal and should be expected. He is sensitive yet direct in how he delivers the word. Every week I look forward to being taught and fed the word of God. From kids to adults the church has it covered. If you are looking for a place to call home don’t just take my word for it come see for yourself. From the minute you walk in the door until you leave you will find a great family that will support and help you along the journey. Now one last thing groups. Yes the groups, men’s group check women’s group check marriage group check FOOD group check check check. They have so many amazing groups to help you get in and fit in. Come and see for yourself and...
