The Chandlery Candle Bar — Local services in League City

Instead of blowing out birthday candles, this year, I decided to make one! I had the pleasure of booking a candle making session with the Chandlery and everyone had a fantastic time and walked out with a candle that smelled just the way they wanted it. Both of our Chandlers were very sweet and extremely knowledgeable about scents, and helped everybody get exactly what they were aiming for- even with a description like "the sea and whiskey'. They walked us through the process easily. For candlemaking, you'll first select a vessel: most vessels are priced at $50, but they do have a refill program I'm excited to take advantage of in the future. Next, you pick your scents, and you can mix several- one of my friends picked 5 to really try and create her own unique creation, I stayed with a more conservative two scent gardenia-cashmere mix (which smells incredible btw). Then, you get to the making, which the staff kindly walks you through while providing complementary drinks. Finally, you end with picking your add ons, which are selection of glitters, botanicals, and crystals/stones. The store itself is adorable and beautifully decorated. They also sell premade candles and wax melts, jewelry, soap, and have a pour your own body soap situation, all extremely fairly priced. Be aware that there is a two hour wait time for your candle to settle before you can head out with it and plan accordingly. It was such a fun and interactive. First you pick a vessel, then choose your scents. There are so many different smells and they even have popular combinations in case you want some inspiration. After choosing your scent you get to mix your scents to make a unique combination. Then you get to choose 3 embellishments to add on top, which have options of crystals, glitter, and florals/herbs!
