This is the most multi-use park I can think of. There is a community center and walking trails, volleyball court, tennis courts, soccer field, baseball field, boat dock to Clear Creek, beautiful views, fishing spots, two children’s play areas, a field for dogs and humans alike to run amok which is also good for picnicking or playing with frisbees or kites. Several green spaces to hang out and covered seating areas. There is also a major Pokémon GO hub (I think about 18 stops/gyms — which does create a lot of traffic, foot and vehicle). There are several pavilions that can be rented out for parties that have tables. Home of the Village Fair and other events. Public restrooms. Great well-rounded park for all outdoor activities. Sometimes I wish they had swings or a basketball court, the only things I find missing! I haven’t used it for water sports, but see people on jet skis, canoes, etc. Most recently being used as a giant COVID vaccination hub which is both lame and pretty cool at the same time. Can’t wait to go back!

Walter Hall park is enormous for a city park, and to me, feels a little under used. There is a lot of wife open fields that just don't seem to be used for much. That's probably the biggest draw back for me. I'd like to see more trees. But it does have a good number of amenities and useable space. There are tennis courts, soccer fields, playgrounds, a gazebo, a couple of pavilions, a couple of fishing piers and a boat launch onto Clear Creek. My friends and I often have a picnic dinner out there and then walk and talk for a healthy social outing. I've always felt very safe and the sunsets over the water are gorgeous.

Me and my girl has an absolute beautiful day in the park. So we went and got take out pizza and had lunch in the shade. No one was around us except for a few small ones on the playground next to us. We have got to start doing this more, have lunch here on clear weather days, maybe even rainy days as well. Oh, and my girl noticed they updated the tennis court. Maybe next time, I'll play a few arounds against my stepdaughter. One thing though, if anything. The restrooms needed cleaning. They looked like they popped out of a Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie. But other than that, we loved our time here.

Nice Galveston County Park named for prominent area banker Walter Hall. Up until the late 60's or 70's, this Park was Galveston County Park! It has been a place for trailrides to camp overnight before moving on, County Fairs, Concerts, festivals, family reunions, weddings, and all kinds of other get togethers. It has a pavilion and other outdoor amenities as well as restrooms, walking trails, tennis courts, a boat launching area, picnic tables, and plenty of big oaks and other trees for shade! There are plenty of parking areas around the park and a pier for fishing. It is bordered by Highway 3 and Clear Creek. It's a good place to launch your boat, kayak, or canoe. You can follow the creek all the way from the park to where it opens up into Clear Lake to the East, or you can follow it West-Northwest toward Friendswood through marshland for birding or wildlife viewing. For fishing you may catch freshwater species such as catfish, or saltwater species such as redfish, flounder, or trout. This depends on how much rain the area has had to push the saltwater out of the creek. During dry conditions with little rain, the tides may push saltwater all the way up to the park! There are many things to do, but you may find it's just a good place to go bring your lunch and sit in the shade of a big oak at a picnic table and watch the...

I love this park. There is plenty of room for many different events. The city of League City likes to host their large annual functions here. Galveston County is absolutely amazing about rental procedures and everything.

There is access to Clear Creek (the actual creek) from the back of the park. I have seen plenty of people enjoying their jet skis, canoes, boats, and other water doohickies in the creek and they seem to really enjoy it. :)

There are two playgrounds for the kids. There is also covered seating near the playgrounds if you need a quick break from the intense sun rays ;).

Weddings and special events often take place here. They have an indoor banquet facility you can rent out.

There are also tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, a soccer field, a baseball field, picnic areas, and easily accessible bathrooms.

Sunsets are beautiful at this park!

I have attended quite a few events at this park over the years, and I have always enjoyed it here.

Oh, last, but not least - you can "Catch 'em All" here, if you know...
