The black beauty supply store I'd just left was sold out of the lip gloss colors I wanted and I saw them on a shelf in this store while I was walking by. There was a noticeably suspicious vibe while I shopped, one of the workers insulted me verbally, then said "stinky" and propped the entrance door open after me when I walked out with my bag. Then I was followed from store to store by the wayward teens who had been saying rude things in their language in this store, and though I would have responded in a way they could understand, I didn't pay my very nice language instructor (we actually had the same name which we thought was sweet) to teach me insults and cursing when I took lessons years ago. Overall a bad experience and for the record I smell great, with the possible exception of a few days ago, and only because I ate someone else's double onion burger by mistake and then slept for 6 hours on a long azz flight. Read moreI gave Daiso one extra star than I was going to give them due to their very helpful employees, but other than that, this store is not as advertised. I was always told/thought/understood that Daiso was a “discount” Japanese store. Their prices are sky high. They have quite a variety of items, but just be prepared to pay top dollar for said items.
