This place has truly gone down hill. I came in and ordered a number 10 epic burrito combo. She asks "medium or large?" I say, what ever is on the menu. She replies "small". I reply 'oh, you didn't mention that.' Now, at this point, I'm willing to let it go as it's a minor issue. And, of course, this is how these places upgrade you without you knowing. But then she cops an attitude by saying "Jesus Christ" like I did something wrong for asking. That just pisses me off now. And, I will admit I can be a real jerk sometimes. But when some overpaid fast food jockey gives me attitude... they deserve my disrespect. I should have just canceled the order and walked. I regret not doing it now. This is the mess they served me. I'm almost afraid to eat it. What a dam mess. The sad thing is that the drive through was empty and I was the only customer in the place. So the least they could do is make it right. Read moreI visited a Del Taco location this evening and when I got home, I realized that the food I received was cold. The food had literally no heat, and upon checking, I noticed that I was not given a receipt. I immediately called the store to speak with a manager about my order. Kyree, who claimed to be the manager, answered the call. I explained the situation, but he attempted to justify that my food was cold due to the travel time from the store to my residence. It's important to note that Kyree doesn't know where I live. Instead of addressing the issue, he continued to argue with me, but I only wanted to rectify the problem. When I requested the name of the general store manager, Kyree hung up the phone in my face. This was unacceptable and unprofessional behavior from a supposed manager. I ended up having to go to another food chain to purchase dinner. Kyree's actions are not excusable, and he clearly is not trained to handle obstacles regarding food quality. Read moreMy mother had a dentist appointment near Lemon Grove, and as soon as her appointment was over, she wanted to eat at a Del Taco, so I looked for one nearby. We love Del Taco's food, but this time, it was one of the worst experiences I ever had at a location. The "manager in charge" wasn't as friendly as others. 1st- She took our order and did not repeat it to make sure it was correct. 2nd- She did not give me a receipt, nor did she let me know which number I was. 3rd- When my order was ready, it was given to me in take out bags when I asked her that it was for dining there. 4th- As I was eating, I saw that everyone who placed an order repeated the order and given a receipt, at least 3 different people. I don't like to complain about stuff like that, but I honestly felt like I was treated in a harsher way. I live in Imperial, and the Del Taco that I go is really professional and friendly.....something I did not feel there.
