Omg, I had so much fun. This is my third time going to Art on The Rocks. My first was to try the pottery wheel with my daughter. That was a blast. We laughed and just had fun together. She is 23 and we don’t get much time together, so this was great. The best part is, we had to go back to paint the pieces, so I get another day with my daughter, hanging out having a good time. The third time I went, I tried my hand at painting. My cousin and I went and had so much fun. The instructor was amazing. She walked us all through, Step-by-step, made us all look like we are Van Gogh. Lol. The whole night cost me under $50. It was cheaper than going out to dinner and having a few drinks or going out to the movies. The best part is you have a keepsake for afterwards. So if you’re looking for something to do, get out of your comfort zone let loose and have a little fun.

I found Art on the Rocks this past fall. I have been coming back almost weekly now to work on various projects. Stacey and her crew are amazing. They are all super helpful especially if you want to try out a new technique. AOTR is a great place for all ages, there are all sorts of projects fit for any age or ability. Stacey is great with kids too. I've witnessed many interactions and she is always patient and willing to teach the kids the process so they understand why they can't take their projects home that day. Explaining how the kiln works.

Are you old enough to remember the TV show Cheers? If so then AOTR is a place where everyone knows your name. Whether your walking through their door to drop of your latest glazed ceramic piece for firing, to buy new pieces, pick up completed pieces or even taking a class, you will always find friendly helpful people in the shop. I love when Stacey shows kiln openings on Facebook Live and many of us watch as many beautiful items, perhaps one of them our own, come out of the kiln. It is a wonderful community to belong to.

Was supposed to attend my first event today (Drag event), however got extremely ill the day of and could not attend. Called to ask about getting credit for another class, and was told it must be done 24 hours in advanced. I don’t understand this protocol as I had no idea I was going to be getting sick the day of the event. Feel like I was jipped of my money and probably will not be attending another class in the future due to this. Hoping them keeping my money is worth no future business from myself or my guest.

After the response from the owner- I think this business practice is absolutely ridiculous. Especially after posting over 100 people attended the event, they clearly made enough money to cover the entertainment for the event. At this point, they are blatantly just keeping people’s money. I will absolutely be going elsewhere!! In this day and age, you think a company would work with people and understand that not everyone is...

Art on the Rocks is AMAZING!!! They offer a variety of options for people - paint your own pottery, make your own pottery, Bob Ross classes, paint classes, fun events (like paint with goats), DIY classes (pottery painting techniques, resin, glass blowing ornaments, etc). The staff makes it a great time from the time you step foot in there. I’ve done a couple resin classes, glass blowing, paint classes, and next month I’ll be taking a peacock painting technique pottery class. The owner is very talented. She cares about her community and her customers. She’s always attending conferences to learn new things to bring to the studio. The studios Facebook live streams are great to watch too! The teachers are amazing at teaching art. They make it so easy! I’ve been to other studios and the guidance Art on the Rocks gives far exceeds any other studio. I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out! You won’t be...
