I discovered Adelaide Apothecary today, much to my delight. I was searching for a specific manufacturer's product. Other brands I tried in the past caused me some allergic issues. When I learned that my local pharmacy could no longer get the one I needed, I was curious and started searching. One article led to another. As I went onto a link, I saw Adelaide's name. I was drawn by the old-fashioned name "... Apothecary." That old-fashioned name is well suited for the old-fashioned customer service you receive.
Since the young lady who answered the phone could not answer my question, I was put in touch with a pharmacist: Jill Smith. But, not just a pharmacist, she is also the manager. Jill went above-and-beyond for me. She did a deep dive, of her own accord, and researched the ingredients in several manufacturer's products. That helped me to pin-point the allergic offender.
She then went on a search to find an alternative for me. She answered every question I had, on the phone and, afterwards in emails, and, they were many. She answered with a kind, understanding, gracious personality, each and every time. I did not, for one second, feel like I was a bother to her, when I know she has to be very busy. It is very hard to find such exceptional customer service these days, especially for something as detailed as a medication. It made a difficult task, much easier and gave me a solution that saved me a lot of time and stress.
In addition, even the lady that answers the phone is gracious, and very helpful.
Trust me, when having to work with a pharmacy, if you want courteous, exceptional service, to help with what you need, you will want to call...
Read moreMy doctor was using a once great compound pharmacy in Florida, post Pandemic their service and response became non existent I was frantically googling for a new option and Adelaide Apothecary came up in my search I explained my issue, I was running out of my med and asked them if they could do my refill. The pharmacy named APS refused to give them my refill, due to issues . Adelaide CSR called my doctor and got the refill sent immediately this at 25% of the cost of APS To be transparent , the product I received from the horrible pharmacy was compounded on site whereas Adelaide stocked product which was ready to go. Fast forward 90 days. I needed the med refilled. I called on Monday August 5, 2024, and today August 7 I received my order. Im in Calif they are in Kentucky They obviously take their mission providing meds to patients seriously, and sent it out same day, free shipping.. and here I am so happy. APS Pharmacy required 10+ business days to mail out a refill. they don't do followup on their refills, where as I received a text message reminding me its time to refill. Very pleased with my order of medicine, and the service that backs it up. I highly recommend Adelaide Apothecary, and thankful they came up on my...
Read morePHENOMENAL! I’ve been an avid Kroger pharmacy customer for years due to the ease of use and proximity to my home, but I’ve always had issues with them filling my prescriptions that required constant back and forth with them and my doctor. I finally decided to try somewhere new and I came across Adelaide through GoodRx. Their prices seemed too good to be true but I figured, why not? I reached out to them and revives phenomenal customer service. They answered my questions, they gave me all the info I needed, and even promptly called me back when I needed them to. The quotes me $200 for my meds that are usually $300 with my insurance. I was sold. To my surprise, they were able to fill my prescription without any hassle whatsoever. Tell me how and/or why a smaller, newer company like this is able to do what a multi-billion dollar company can’t? It’s amazing. I got my prescription filled, meds sent out, and received them two days later. I have a new pharmacy! Do not hesitate. These guys are...
