Autosound Inc — Attraction in Lexington

I’ve waited a little while since the install to post a review but here it is:

The guys that work at Autosound are top-notch. They answered all my questions- even when the nature of the response flew over my head.

The install is CLEAN. My amp is not visible under my passenger seat, and it looks like nobody touched my door panels. If you’ve done any work yourself, you know that’s not easy to accomplish. All wires are tucked away nicely (literally none of them are visible) and the sub box looks like it was meant to be there.

I’m picky about my things. These guys did a spectacular job.

Heads up: if you keep a factory unit and go with an Audison processor, the software is only windows compatible. It doesn’t work with Mac. On the plus side, I now have a cheap windows laptop dedicated to my sound system 🤣

What a great team they have here. Drove over needing some technical advise, and perhaps an adapter or two for a vehicle I just bought. They knew right where to find the wiring that had been run for a previous stereo install, and gave me great advice in spite of buying my head unit and speakers online. Support your local shops like this one. I would have never gotten the help and service I recieved here from a big box store with a revolving door of noob employees. The advice I got substantially reduced the install time for my system. Although I was planning on an amp and subs down the road, I was so impressed with the level of service, I bought the amp, sub, and box on the spot. Now that everything is installed, I couldn't be happier! Again, support shops like these. I stopped by the store today 1/5/2022 to see about upgrading my existing sound system in my truck. The man who helped me, I forgot his name, came out to my truck and listened to what I had already installed. He told me that it sounded pretty good but that there may be some adjustments he could make. He adjusted my amp, sub, and eq settings on my truck and got it sounding amazing. When I asked him what he would recommend as an upgrade he told me point blank that there was not really anything he could offer that would not cost less than 5000$. I told him I would like to pay him for his time and he said no worries but if you have time leave a review.
