Let me share my impression of Eva first. Absolute professional, personable, attentive, she knew when to leave me to contemplate. Should I buy anything else Iāll definitely be asking for her. Eva greeted me when I first walked in. I explained I just moved from Louisville in late August & I was looking for specific items with specific colors since all I had was a bed so needed to furnish my condo. I knew I was at the right place when she said she could order my living room set in turquoise. Turquoise is a very hard color to find in sofas, chairs & ottomanās. Iām a color person so most furniture stores order is black, various shades of gray in abundance. Eva remembered specific items in specific colors for my bedroom, dining room and living room. She showed me exactly what I asked for. Perfect! The exact dresser & nightstand was even cheaper than the place previous. The cost of each item was reasonable, however, when she told me the cost of delivery I was astounded. I asked for a discount on delivery (Iām not shy) since I was spending over $2000.00 in cash. She explained that I would need to talk to the manager Anthony. What a total waste of energy & time. Not personable at all. No smile, didnāt introduce himself & had a negative attitude as if I were bothering him. I politely explained to him the dollar amount of the furniture & I really wasnāt happy about delivery. I asked for zero delivery fee. Tell the truth Iāve never seen a higher delivery fee of $199.00, nor have I ever dealt with a furniture store that you couldnāt negotiate with. It was probably two seconds when he said no he couldnāt do it. Store policy. I then said ok, how about $100.00 off. Nope, he couldnāt do that either. I reminded him that I was spending over $2000.00 in cash, not financing anything. He proceeded to explain the store never gave free or reduced price on delivery. Explaining that the store had a policy, used an outside delivery service, who were responsible to inspect all pieces & put it together. I told him I doubted they inspected anything. I then asked why there were signs on certain pieces offering free delivery and he just told me it was store policy about delivery. He responded with each week some pieces were chosen for that special. But wait, there were no exceptions period. I explained to him I thought it was a bad business decision. I can easily contact 10 people to recommend they donāt buy from Overstock & I could easily walk out & heād be $2000.00+ poorer. He shrugged his shoulders as if those prospects were ok with him. I looked him in the eye & said no hard feelings. Trying to be polite since he wasnāt. Again I donāt get it. So although I had a difficult, unfriendly conversation with the manager. I still bought the furniture. Iām not deleting stars in my rating because that would be totally unfair to Eva. She was lovely. So hopefully this will be seen by the owner so he gets a firsthand experience of how his manager...

My husband has had a Lazyboy Maverick recliner for probably 13 to 15 years (which we were very pleased and satisfied with)and it broke, it was his birthday so I thought I would surprise him. After doing all my leg work on the phone I ended up at Lazy boy looking for another recliner. I had an absolutely wonderful, kind, and patient salesperson (Tracy). She was wonderful and so helpful. She helped me decide with the best selling recliner and I let her pick the color ( gray because it will match an color, good thinking. When the delivery truck pulled up, my husband asked me to return it, said he didn't want to spend the money as we could not afford it. It happens it was labor day sale too. But back to the store it had to go, sad š¢š my dear husband works so hard and long and the chair is so comfy it makes you feel better just lying in it, takes away soreness and aches and pains. I called the store to ask if we could return it and spoke with the store manager, another very polite, understanding and helpful nice person to deal with. He explained it was with in 3 days and all is well with the return. Well I feel awful about the entire ordeal and I pray if we ever do get new furniture that Lazyboy in Lexington is where I will be able to shop and purchase. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in their store and pointed to the loveseat I wanted to buy. I told the salesperson that I had bought the couch that matches it several months back. He looked in the computer and told me he sees where I had bought the couch previously. He then said that model is really popular so it would need to be ordered. That was fine with me. When my loveseat came in it was the wrong model. They said the only way I could get a refund would be if I paid the $100 delivery fee and a 25% restocking fee for a mistake that they made?!? Not a trustworthy business!
UPDATE This is the last I that I will be responding to this review. I refuse to spend any more of my time thinking about your crooked business. Absolutely EVERYTHING you put in your response was completely false. I never showed them anything on the website. It was literally the floor model that I showed to the salesman. I donāt know how you sleep at night lying and cheating people. You obviously use bots to give yourself good reviews. Anyone who takes the time to look at some of the reviewers profiles can see that. My only hope is that maybe one person takes the time to read the negative reviews and stays clear of your business. You can continue replying with lies. I wonāt be responding. Youāre not...
