Palmetto Cards — Attraction in Lexington

Went to Palmetto Cards this past Saturday for the first time with my wife and it was everything I expected and SO MUCH more! We were greeted by Aaron and Will who provided us with so much information about the business, grading and detail about the card collecting world. As a big sports card collector myself, they answered so many questions that we had and cannot wait to bring my collection there some day for grading submission and further purchases.

I had recently visited this store for the first time to sell some old baseball cards. I have to admit I was very apprehensive and not sure what to expect. I certainly did not want to be taken for a ride and was just looking for a fair deal. Not only did the employees make me feel at ease but they were extremely friendly and very professional. We were visiting the area from Florida and always enjoy exploring local card shops. Palmetto Cards was no exception. The shop was clean, the staff was friendly, and the presentation was top-notch. However, I have two recommendations: first, don’t say you’re flexible on card prices and then come back with a manager who refuses to budge even $5. They even asked for cash without an ATM machine or knowing where one is in the area to come down a few dollars on a card.
