I would love to give an updated review to the initial I left 8 months ago. We have since returned to Feldman's several times. Since someone had taken the time to reach out about our customer service concerns, we thought we would do our part in returning to give them another try.
Each time we have revisited, we have experienced wonderful customer service, both by cashiers and management. Their employees approach us asking if we need any help & have been extremely helpful & knowledgeable. They have even ordered supplies that we needed & didn't carry in stock.
We are so happy they have put the efforts in to change around the employee moral & customer service for our local town farm store!
We so badly want to give it a higher rating and we have tried and tried to be supportive of our local farm store. 🙏 However, each time we go back, we witness the same customer service issues from the cashiers. It's unfortunate because at almost any business in Liberty you will receive that small town charm and here, the employees we have encountered seem to be burdened when approached by a customer.
Within a half hour to close, they come on the speaker every 5 minutes asking you to go check out. Even if said in a nice tone, please know that it definitely comes across as get out and get out soon. We don't expect you to stay open to customers past close but maybe limit your speaker announcements to the last 5 minutes.
In today's Amazon world of click and order, it would be wonderful to keep around local brick and mortar small town stores - but to do that, customer's need to feel like they're welcomed to be there and not a burden.
This last visit my husband and I, along with other customers standing in line, witnessed the cashier rudely answer a call 2 minutes after close. After letting us know how frustrated she was that someone was calling, she joked to us that she wanted to answer and pretend she was security (not sure the intent there, maybe to scare them off?), she rudely answered letting the person know how frustrating it was that they were calling after close.
I so badly want to keep a farm store in our small town. I hope Feldman's considers doing some employee morale boosting and team building. Many of our neighbors drive up to another town to their farm store for better customer service. I think we are now at that point.
It really is a simple fix with employee and customer appreciation and I hope Feldman's can turn around the environment into a small town farm store with customer service filled with small town charm for their locals to...
Read moreIt's fun to see and pet the animals they have in there, but i can't say the same for anything else. My father passed away and I brought his old saw in to try to have it repaired, and the guy said they would look at it in the next couple of days. I called in a week later, and the person acted like I was crazy for thinking they would look at it in a couple of days and said heck no, it's going to be at least three weeks. After that time passed and they did supposedly look at it all, they did was tell me they don't service older equipment and to come pick it up. I had to repeatedly inquire as to what their findings were, if they did look at it, and they told me that I needed new oil seals that they cannot buy. But that's what I told them when I brought it in, so I don't really think it was looked at. The person also told me they would refund my money because they did nothing with it. I came to pick it up, and I could tell it was exactly like I left it, in pieces and a box untouched. I had to wait a while for the manager to show up because the refund apparently had to go through him and he was in a meeting. After he came out, he said there was somebody else they could go look for and see if they wanted to do it, but that they weren't really willing to give the refund, because it had been diagnosed. I waited for long enough. I just grabbed my box and left and said, you've lost my business and moved on about my life. I don't really care about the $40 that they kept. I care about being lied to and having my time wasted as much as they did. It would have taken less time to look and see that they don't service that equipment when I dropped it off than it did for the guy talking to me while I was dropping it off. I am severely disappointed in their customer service at this location for the stihl service center. The employees seem to work for feldmans, not stihl best I can tell.
*thanks for the response👇, but it's not worth my time to dive back and collect. I'm just leaving this review to warn people a out how it was handled. It would be more financially beneficial for me to work more hours at work 5 would be to receive less money making time to come collect the $40 from you.
**2nd update. This company won't stop sending me automated messages about picking up the chainsaw I've already picked up. I hit stop to unsubscribe, and a few days later someone there added me back in to the system and started sending me messages again. I can only assume it's retaliation for...
Read moreI Visited the Liberty MO. Store on Saturday 8/1//2023 to look for sheep shears.
They didn't Have any. So an employer kindly recommends some other cutters to groom our dog with. We have been having issues with cutters not working and this is why we were looking for sheep shears. But we took the employee's recommendation and purchased the clippers. We took them home and they would not cut our dogs fur. So we went to take them back on Saturday the 5th. The Employee behind the register called for an assistant manager. She asked if we had the receipt and I advised we did not but I had the card they were purchased on and the date. I even showed her my Online banking account that showed the charge and the date. She then went to talk to the manager Josh B. She then came back and asked if we were Loyalty members. I advised we were not. She then said well I am sorry there is nothing we can do as they are used. I asked her to explain how I was going to know if they worked or not if we did not try to use them. She had no answer for me. I then asked to Speak to the Manager Josh who then came over and provided no help just saying we were unable to return them as they were used. I then again pleaded my case and said these clippers were recommended by an employee knowing we were looking for sheep shears. Again no help and I asked for his corporate number and he said there was No one else to talk to. His word was final. We are now stuck with $108.00 shears that will not work with our dog..
So buyer beware, The Store Does not care about you just the...
