Not vary happy with my experience. My wife and I put in 2 claims for each of our phones. Our toddler broke both screens in a week. Anyway we take them up to get them fixed. They don't have the parts. No problem with waiting. We get a call a few days later. We have your parts bring them in. My wife brings hers in and finds out they don't have all her parts and I need to get mine in that day or I'm going to have to redo my claim. So I leave work show up and they don't have my parts either and I need to refile the claim. I just say ok leave and call my wife. She's goes I didn't have to do that. The guy she talked to opened a work order so she didn't have to re do the claim. So I go back in and talked to the same guy. He acted as if I was bothering him. I said what my wife said and talked to the other guy as well and he showes him how to set it up so we don't have to redo anything great.
Parts will be in soon. Ok great. I get a call 2 days later parts are in. I bring up my phone and drop it off see ya in 3 hours. We are still waiting on your wife's parts. I return 3 hours later and I get we are sorry we don't have your parts again. OK I guess? Parts should be in next week. I get my phone and leave.
Next week rolls around and haven't heard anything. Wife calls today Wendsday yep parts are in for both phones and you need to get them in today or you're going to have to redo your insurance claim. Then the same guy calls.my wife less than 5 mins late to tell her the parts are in... She goes I just talked to you. I just called about these phones 5 minutes ago. She calls me and tells me to get my phone up there so I leave work again. Head up to drop it off. Guy doesn't ask for my code or ask for me to do anything. Takes my phone back and I leave. Wife leaves work to bring hers in. They tell her we don't have all your parts and we can't start on my phone because it has a pin code. She gives them my code so they can start on it.
This is the 4th time we have been to the store because they "have the parts" She ended up getting a new one. I get mine back. Screen is fixed but they didn't replace the battery? I assumed they would replace it since they are in their working on it. But no same battery that won't hold a charge throughout the day. The last time I had a screen replaced they did the battery as well. Horrible experience. I don't work on phones I don't know what is needed. It's the most ridiculous experience I've ever had getting a phone repaired. If I could give negative stars it...
Read moreI brought in a device last month and paid almost $200.00 for the repair. I was told that I would get the device back that same week, and I could expect a phone call and email when it was ready to pick up. A week rolled by and I hadn’t heard back, so I called and was told they had sent it out to a third party to fix it. I didn’t mind, but was a little frustrated that no one cared enough to let me know. I was told it would take about another week. So, I waited the full week. Heard nothing. I called again and they said it would take another three business days. I heard nothing and decided to give them another week on top of that. Nothing. I called and they told me that they had received my device, but that they had to send it back because the third-party company repaired the wrong part, and because of this, I could be charged again. I immediately requested to speak to the manager. Will was very nice, respectful, and understood my frustration. He told me I wouldn’t be charged again, and he would personally call me when my device was back. Another week passed by, and I finally got the call from him that it was ready to pick up. I was so excited! But unfortunately, it doesn't end there. I go pick up my device and drive all the way home... only to find that the staff member gave me someone else’s device. I called up to tell them, and they apologized by saying that sometimes they read numbers wrong.. lol. I went all the way back and finally got my device. It is working great. The staff here are very nice, and you can tell that they are trying, but I feel they could benefit from more training regarding customer experience and communication. I do not think I will be coming back to this location solely because of this. Yes, they fixed my device, but this process altogether was so unorganized, confusing and...
Read moreI have two reviews for my experience on 06/20/2025 at the Liberty location. Taylor and Zack (hope I spelled that correctly) deserve nothing short of raises. They were slammed and short staffed from the time the store opened until it closed. I came into the store just after 11am to drop off my phone for repair and finally left the store around noon. Almost the entirety of that time was waiting in line to drop the phone off. Taylor was by himself from 10am until his back up arrived at noon. Who schedules like that for a Friday? Regardless, they both stayed well past close to finish fixing multiple customers phones. They could've just closed up and told everyone to come back tomorrow. And by the sound of it, might get in trouble for not doing that. But they didn't, and I appreciate them both for it.
Now for the second review and this Is why the store gets one star. The store manager needs to be retrained or perhaps find a new line of work. Speaking from experience, if your store is short staffed, you need to be there until it isn't. This particular manager apparently can't be bothered to cover gaps in staffing. Instead, they're content leaving their employees overwhlemed and overworked. And their customers waiting in lines for an hour just to drop something off. To my knowledge that isn't the experience UBreakIfix promotes. They push fast friendly service with quick turnaround times. So what is the issue? The company or the store manager? This is an open book test, it's the manager. Even with both of the employees being flat out rockstars yesterday, I'd still recommend using a different location for your repair needs...
