Don’t get me wrong, this place served good boba and has a pretty good atmosphere. I’ve been going here for 2 years because it’s the only place that has the type of drink I like. But recently every time I come in one of the workers, specifically the guy with long brown hair always rolls his eyes, looks disgusted at me, or just overall scoffs at me. Worse part. It’s all behind my back. I was told about this by several of my friends that I take their because I enjoy it so much. The most recent time was I was about to go hang out with a few of my friends, I had stopped their with one of my friends before picking up the other one and this is what she had to say about the whole situation. “I walked in with my good friend into boba tea hive, seeing as this is a reoccurring and very special place that we go too each time where together. During this specific arrival I witnessed our entry being disgusted an employee. Specifically the one with his hair up in a pony tail, i remember this seeing as the minute i walked in I noticed him stare at my good friend later at me and later hiding behind the back room walls. I tried to ignore it seeing as I had to clue why he would have a misconception with one of us. Although It started to become difficult later on when I would catch him staring at us, to a point where I made eye contact with him for a while. The minute we locked eyes he looked disgusted and shook his head at whatever my friend and I were privately discussing. The entire situation was uncomfortable and I couldn’t wait until we would get our drinks so we could leave from this awkward moment. It saddening to see that one of our favorite place is now a place of uncertainty and...
Read moreGreat service, friendly atmosphere and fair prices. Before coming in, I had never tried Boba, but have always been curious about it. Upon coming in I was greeted by a friendly server, who was quick to tell me to ask if I had any questions. I had to take a moment because I was immediately overwhelmed by the sheer options from their menu. After taking a moment to take everything in, I asked the server about the different type of Bobas, from the Original Tapioca pearls, to their Crystal boba, and their bursting boba, and he was quick to explain and even offer a taste of whichever I wanted to see if there was one I liked better. After testing a few I decided that I liked the original Tapioca pearls, as it had a nice honey and brown sugar flavor with it that was quite nice. In the end I settled on a Lemon Slush with Tapioca pearls, and I am quite satisfied with the results. Overall the staff was incredibly friendly, very accommodating for a first timer, and I highly recommend checking out Boba Tea Hive if you...
Read moreSuper cute shop. It’s pretty much make your own, pick your own flavors and everything. Friendly staff and they have some cute trinkets for sale there too. I got a lychee slush with boba. 🧋 It was great at first. However then the boba started to freeze due to the slush and they got really hard and expanded so big they wouldn’t fit through the boba straw. And they were super hard and frozen so basically they were impossible to drink. 🥶❄️I had to wait for the whole slush to melt and then the boba returned to normal size and they were soft again so I could drink. This was very weird and has never happened to me before. Not a very good experience because I wanted to drink the boba with the slush still cold.. the boba was soft and chewy when it was in the right temperature though. Also the total for a boba with tip was $9!!! That’s so expensive!!!...
