As Above So Below — Attraction in Libertyville

I knew it would be 5 stars the moment I opened the door and a cat flopped down on my feet asking for pets, but I was not prepared for just how amazing the stuff would be. There were a lot of different crystal types, all EXTREMELY high quality- normally I have to go digging through the entire store to find something amazing, but here there was no need for that! Nearly every product caught my eye at one point, but luckily for my bank account I managed to settle on one. They had a good variety of crystals, many of which I haven’t seen before. I even found a purple-shifting labradorite! I didn’t even know that was a thing!! Speaking of labradorite, all of their labradorites were extremely colorful/shiny/labadoresence-y (definitely spelled that wrong..), speaking to the high quality of all the gems sold there. The prices were more expensive, but very reasonably so. You could probably find small tumbled stones for cheaper elsewhere (though be prepared to do some digging to find good-quality ones; they’re sparse but still findable), but if you want larger “centerpiece-ish” stones, this is the best (and probably least expensive)...

I was really excited to visit this store, but was very disappointed when I was greeted by an entire staff made up of high school aged kids. They spoke loudly about drama between their friend circle and even seemed to reading messages from friends to each other. Two other sets of shoppers walked in while I was there and the staff still kept talking about their personal drama. The professionalism just wasn’t there at this shop. It very much felt like a hang out session for friends, and less of a metaphysical shop. Also, and I understand prices change on crystals, but their spheres and towers were way over priced. Sadly, I will not be returning to this store, and I hope they reassess...

Had the chance to visit this new location over the holidays and the store is simply magical! Been shopping their St. Pete store since this mom/daughter duo opened there and I love how all their crystals have been hand picked! Their live sales are a blast, mystery boxes are works of art, new shop is loaded with crystals that give you goosebumps and they get the most unique pieces (carvings, statement pieces and even estate sale finds) Their cats were visiting and that I was able to see my fave crystal shop reincarnated up North!
