Patty's Barber Shop — Attraction in Lincoln Park

This is a first and last! We will never return to this Barber Shop again. I paid $30 for my son to get a haircut with a line up. My son had made a couple facial gestures in the seat while getting his haircut but I didn’t think much of it seeing he did not say anything. However, when arriving home I seen his scalp was cut and he had razor burn all along the back of his head. Needless to say it has taken 5 days for the scabbing to clear up. This is horrible service. I’m having a hard time believing the Barber did not see this. I did see the Barber placing what I thought was gel on his hair but now looking back at the situation I’m pretty sure it was an ointment to help cover up the cuts/burns that were made. Would explain why the Barber kept looking my way. If you’re in too much of a rush to get out of the shop that you cause this to happen, then maybe you shouldn’t be taking on anymore clients. I had took my son there and showed a photo of what i wanted. It came out nothing like the photo. Which is fine he's only 2yrs old. But i won't go there again. But i nvr mentioned it to my mom, and living in the same area, she took my 12yr old brother there and the same exact thing happened to him. He's been growing his hair for months and wanted the old justin beiber hair. My mom showed the barber a photo and he said he can do it. Well the barber cut his hair waaaay too short but he claimed he knew what he was doing. When it was done my little brother was balling his eyes out. All that time growing his hair. But pattys husband made it right. He called my mon and brother back to their place and compesated him $50 to buy himself a toy :) he told him he did not want him to be sad. Before I write this i want to say that all barbers are not bad at cutting hair. the only issue is this place hires people without experience. I know what i asked for and i did not get what i asked for, i said i want a low fade taper with a 0 on top and a 2 around. the barber was constantly on his phone, he stopped cutting my hair for at least 6 minutes. he was on and off the phone with people. and never once showed concentration into cutting my hair. i did not get his name but he was a black gentleman. and i think he definitely should not work there. i’ve always loved this place i came here for 3 years always had a good experience this one time my hair was completely different he thought i said i wanted my hair parted down the middle when i said (taper fade low with a 0 on top and a 2 around) all the barbers that cut my hair were perfect but this one guy just...
