Very disappointed by owner. My brother recommended Park Tire to me so I felt I was in good hands to have my car checked over for tires and an alignment. Brought car in, pulled into lot at an opened bay, and walked into the service desk, went out to get my phone and saw two huge dents in side of my pristine car. Owner, the only person working next to car, right away came up to me and said he noticed the dents when I drove in. I told him that the dents were not there and that they were done when I went to service desk, that someone had made the dents in the 5 minutes I was at the service desk. He denied it. I questioned him 3 times, but he would not tell me the truth. When I left, he said that I must have gotten the dents in a shopping center, though I told him I had not gone to a shopping center. I asked one of workers if they had security cameras so I could prove that there were not dents on my car and he said no. I was so upset that the owner would not admit that the dents happened at Park Tire. I know if I were a man, he would have told me the truth. I took my car to a collision shop and told owner what had happened, and the owner said that the dents were too long and deep to be shopping carts dents, that something much heavier had to have made them. I now have to pay $400+ to have the dents removed. I definitely do not recommend the store to anyone because of the way the...
Read moreGood people up front but the mechanics in the back dont understand how ambient pressure is read off a TPMS.
It takes time for them to adjust as if the pressure is normal, but they should ALWAYS read the correct pressure which it was not doing it was over 20PSI low on the reading even when a manual check showed the tire at the correct psi (it was also flashing low tire). The owner and his crew argued with me on this inspite of me owning the car for over 4 years and I had ZERO issues with my TPMS before coming in. If it's attempting to reset the pressure will read correctly and now alerts will be flashing all pressures should remain solid at their inflation temperature.
They insisted I drive it around which I did and it never resolved the issue (15 mins on the freeway at 70+MPH.) I took it to my mechanic after the drive and he immortally identified that the TPMS had been broken or installed improperly.
One would think that a store which specializes in tires would also be subject matter experts in them. That's simply not the case here. Don't waste your time, I ended up wasting over 4.5 hours to get everything resolved with my normal mechanic after...
Read moreI brought in a 03 Pontiac Vibe that Direct Care Care suggested I take here. The car was shakey, loud, the bearing on the right front side was total scrap and the incorrect spindle was bolted on up side down into it.
I spoke to Mike, and asked if he would check to make sure he could do the work and make it SAFE. He handed the car back to me at closing time having lifted it up and ONLY doing an alignment. He ASSURED me over and over that it was safe.
I drove for about fourty minutes, and the steering went in all directions. i couldn't control the wheel. The car was Towed to Quietline in Clio who told me that Mike left those bad parts on knowingly. They are rare parts for an AWD car so Mike didn't want to deal with it. My son and I are lucky to be alive. It was unbelievably unsafe.
The car is fixed now. I called Mike and his exact response to me was, "The shotty work is what caused the alignment not to help. I didn't do the shotty work...just the alignment."
They will not...
