I love Roper Park. Just another of the Lincoln City's great parks. Due to its location, the parking lots for both the east and the separate west side of the park can be a little confusing to find, so I would strongly suggest checking google maps for directions your first time out. Roper is certainly larger than a lot of other parks. Among obvious park activities, Roper includes the largest of the Lincoln Parks and Rec's 2 public disc golfing courses. Roper is currently undergoing some needed park renovation (4/2016), which has limited the use of a few spots around the park, but with its size, it's hardly noticeable. Read moreRoper Park is a great place to enjoy walking, jogging picnicking and its disc golf course is excellent for any skill level. There's lots of trees and a creek running through it which make a perfect place for bird & nature watchers to enjoy. There's also a nice playground with equipment kids love. Read moreIt's okay but not happy with the layout. Would have preferred an East/West split rather than north/south. The small dogs have an extremely small area of flat land next to the fence. The rest of it is on an uphill slope and is very rough and uneven and hard to walk on. I like the size and area but not the terrain. Not very conducive for a lot of running that my dog loves to do.
